The Hoity Toit Beer Joint — Restaurant in New Braunfels

Tried to stop in for a beer and not sure who was out front to open (owner? / bartender). Simply asked if open and comment was no Thanks to Trump. Another angry, mean, upset democrat who watches to much tv and only believes what they hear. I guess he shut down all the other countries also. Sorry a pandemic closed you, but no need for political statement. A simple no we are closed would have worked or take off your google that you are open. Maybe stop the anger and talk to ALL of the other bars in the area...

While the Hoity Toit may only carry great tavern treats it makes up for. it by serving the needy with ice cold drinks and service upon request. A true favorite of the old timers. Be treated like royalty by their employees who will return a smile with each request. Located just past Eden Heights on the hill. Across the street from 1 of the older mills that provided the population employment. After a each shift you would find the workers taking a moment of relaxation before living...

This place is a local landmark. It's probably been around for close to a hundred years. After the atmosphere, the big draw is everything is half price. Oh, and be sure to bring cash, that's the only way you can buy anything.

Now that I've learned how to work the jukebox, I've found that if the the guy that's the bartender doesn't like the selection you played, he turns the volume down. It seems that the regulars have a strong influence. I can't have an option on the bar...
