The Hungry Waffle — Restaurant in New Braunfels

My son and I stopped by The Hungry Waffle today and were absolutely blown away. We had the crispy Chicken & Waffles and the Waffle of the Month — a berries and cream creation that was out of this world. Easily the best Chicken-N-Waffles we’ve ever had.

The berries and cream waffle was the perfect sweet touch — fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of indulgent. You can tell the husband-and-wife team running this spot truly care about quality and the people they serve.

Only reason atmosphere gets 3 stars is because it’s a food truck — otherwise it would’ve been five stars across the board. Amazing food, amazing folks. We’ll definitely be back!

Didnt get to try anything. Available menu was quite limited. 3 items available and a drink. Disappointed. Middle of parking lot, limited shade(tree off to the side), no awning, menu is not posted must use phone(hard to see with no shade). Trucks facing west. No greeting.

Now there can be many reasons for a limited menu but not having that listed is upsetting. For instance Limited menu on Sunday Or Often sold out by 10am. Anything to tell the consumer what days or times to avoid so they have the full menu available.

Finally tried The Hungry Waffle, and was thoroughly impressed. Although I didn't get a waffle this visit, my review is still 5 STARS! I ordered their new Chopped Italian Sub, and was so refreshed! Every part of the sandwich was delicious! The bread was so tasty and soft. The chopped Italian meats, cheese, and veggies were exactly what that bread needed! They were beyond blessed with a ton of orders, and they still managed to get my food out just in time for my munchies. I'm looking forward to coming back for another sub and maybe a...
