Riverwalk: Eagleland Dr. Trailhead — Attraction in San Antonio

I love this section of the Riverwalk.

Just south of the Bluestar Art District and at the edge of The Lone Star District. This is a wonderful place to view while on your ride or on a run.

I love to stop here and take in since of the natural environment. Butterflies, fish, crawfish, turtles and birds are frequent encounters.

Eagleland is nestled between a beautiful bridge that connects the area with a high school and the Big Tex community. Very close to Burgerteca.

In the other direction is Roosevelt Park full of great park amenities. I have not explored this area much but it looks very pretty.

The view of the Tower is pretty as well and trains cross a rustic wooden bridge...

Art and see if you can pick me up and free bolo under the bridge for real plus my bf didn't know how to do this so my homeboy jumped in and spoke up for him that's why he was black and I taught and spoke him and his future wife through some negative American bad language moments in case anyone was wondering why we were there. go left and there's miles and miles of a wide path along the river great for biking walking or running with lots of distance markers to keep track of how far you went. Not a lot of shade but it's a wonderful spot for better weather or the well hydrated. go right and there's a beautiful bustling urban route along the idyllic shops and houses of downtown San Antonio.
