I really wanted to like this place - the service was fantastic and the baristas were super friendly, but unfortunately my experience with the coffee itself wasn’t great. I bought a bag of whole beans and asked to have them ground slightly finer than drip but coarser than espresso (I brew with an AeroPress). The grind I received ended up much coarser than expected, even coarser than standard drip. When I brewed at home, the result was a weak, under-extracted cup with a sour, tea-like flavor. I can probably adjust my recipe to make it work, but it was disappointing given the $13 price and the expectation that it would be ground as requested. I also ordered a flat white. It’s not on their menu, so it might have been a stretch to ask for it, but I appreciated that they offered to make one. Unfortunately, it came out more like espresso with plain milk rather than a traditional flat white, no microfoam or steamed texture. Overall, the staff was kind and the atmosphere was great, but the coffee preparation missed the mark for me.

Hi. Yes, you. Just want to let you know about New Braunfels's newest little coffee house. Nestled in a shopping strip on the back end of Creekside, this new coffeehouse is pretty chill and a good addition to the area. As with other coffeehouses, its filled with nice, plush couches and chairs along with some old rustic tables. The light fixtures are covered in beads. Their espresso drinks are solid and even their drink is pretty amazing believe it or not. The only "negative" - if you want to even call it that- was that the barista didn't know how to make a cortado. They have a drive thru if you're in a hurry and do not want to get out an chill in their cool space. If you didn't know, now you know.

Drip coffee was smooth and they didn't charge me extra to put a "shot of mexican hot chocolate" in it. Prices are reasonable. Chai spice muffin was just the right amount of sweet. Staff was friendly and courteous and atmosphere was calm and peaceful. I will be back for sure. They have a drive through, which is convenient. I may try it out next time I'm in a hurry if they are open early. They gave me a FREE chocolate covered espresso bean that was delicious. Don't know if that is a promotional thing that's going to stop eventually, or if it will always be a thing. 10/10, would get my coffee here again.

I hate writing bad reviews, but this place deserves it. Like other people have said, the staff need better training, they don't know how to make coffee. i think this girl has literally never made an iced mocha in her life.

I ordered an iced mocha, half sweet. The girl at the counter got so confused. It was SOOOOO frustrating talking to her. first of all, she thought i wanted a white mocha. i don't know why she added extra words to my order. i asked for a mocha. She said, how many sugars did you want? I said, "i dont want extra sugar in there. i want HALF the syrup. you know how you put syrup in a mocha? i want HALF that."

she looked so perplexed, and i was annoyed she thought when i said half sweet that that meant i wanted EXTRA sugar. i kept explaining how i wanted LESS sweet in my drink. she looked confused. i kept explaining, you know how places put like 3 pumps of mocha sauce in a mocha? well, i want 1.5 pumps.

I got my drink and took a sip, and MAN, THAT WAS SWEEEEET. i got home and looked at the label on my drink. it said mocha mocha. then it said chocolate sauce. so i guess they added an EXTRA 1.5 pumps on top of the mocha in the drink. it was disgusting.

i threw the drink...

The team at Wicked Voodoo is not only courteous, but they make an incredible cup of coffee. Texas is known for BBQ and not coffee however, Wicked Voodoo changed all of that; they have added an amazing experience coupled with the touch of the Pacific Northwest (Which is known for its coffee). I usually order a "Dirty chai" with an extra shot, and let me tell you... You'll find no better cup of Joe here in New Braunfels. The roast they use has a great toasted taste coupled with the spices of their chai. It's an addiction and a guilty pleasure for me hands down!

Plus, they have breakfast tacos from NB Tortilleria!! NEED I SAY MORE? An incredible cup of coffee with a breakfast taco? TAKE MY MONEY! They can make you whatever coffee, energy drink, or tea that suits your fancy. Go by and see the team at the Creeekside location, and I promise you, you'll be hooked. Inviting and amazing customer service with delicious coffee and treats! Sounds like a great day to me! Thank you for all...
