Hobby Lobby — Local services in New Braunfels

Went in today to purchase some items to diy for my daughter’s upcoming 15. I was having issues with my 1st card, unfortunately I had to leave and come back for my items. The First Lady I encountered advised that my items would be on hold for an hour. I came back in less than that time as I live pretty close. My attempt to use a second card also began giving me issues, I stepped to the side to resolve the issue. Once resolved, I looked back and saw all my items in the 3 bags were emptied out. As I searched for my items in the carts infront of the registers I informed an employee about the lady who was emptying out my bags when I was literally standing right to the side. She had white hair put up in a pony tale. She advised me my florals were already put away and i would have to go retrieve them myself. I explained how I was standing right infront, I never left from inside the store so why would she rudely do that? I explained the nice lady earlier informed me I had an hour for hold and it had been less then an hour so I don’t understand why she would do that. I then asked her if she can go retrieve my florals since she was the one emptying out the bag when she shouldn’t have. She vocalized “no” she couldn’t because she couldn’t leave the front. I explained idk why she would do that when I was literally right in eyes view. She stated she did not see me, no apology or anything. I expressed how ridiculous and rude that was, gathered the items I could find in the front baskets and made my purchase. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to purchase all I originally had. Women, you will not find a better, more exhaustive compilation of all things crafty. This store has it all. Fabrics, yarn, paints, decor and more are at your fingertips. Even if you are just looking for some "me time" this is just the place for you. Your husband or significant other will likely be more than willing to allow you to go here alone. You can find all the things for your home or hobby that you need.

Men, are you tired of your wife dragging you to the craft store? This lovely store filled with friendly smiling faces has a secret quest just for you. Scattered acrossthe store you will find random displays of letters in all shapes in sizes. From wood to metal and even iron-on patches they come in virtually every shape size and color. (Except sky-blue-pink. I can't find any that color). Your mission is to spell out the wittiest word or catch phrase that you can think of without being caught by the store associates. (Think of them as the guards in a video game.) Extra points can be scored by completing movie quotes, an entire verse of your favorite song, or limerick. The only rule is be nice and keep it clean. (None of those sailor words.) In a world where customer service is lacking I always want to compliment great service. Last week I went into this location looking for very last minute graduation decorations. We looked all through the store and didn’t find any. I saw the Assistant Manager walking the floor and asked if she had any located in the store that I might have overlooked. I explained that my daughter had completed online high school, that her diploma came in the mail today and since she was not having a "traditional” graduation that we wanted to put together a little impromptu celebration. The assistant manager explained that they had not put out the graduation items but that she would be glad to help! She went and got a tall ladder, climbed up and began to offer us all sorts or graduation decoration items. It would so much easier for her to just say, "We don't have those items out yet" but she didn't. She went far above and beyond to make our daughter's celebration happen!
