Let me say, the food was good, the service was not. Staff was pretty rude right from the beginning, as though wr were inconveniencing their day by being there. The place was filthy. We had to clean, what appeared to be sawdust, off the table and chairs before we sat down. Food arrived at the table within a reasonable time frame and, as I said, it was good. Not great, but wasn't disappointing. I had a turkey hoagie and my sister had a fish sandwich. Both were decent size and we were each only able to eat half. Now, though I already hated to disturb the thus far unfriendly staff, I went to the counter and asked for a couple to go boxes. The staff member, who had just come from the restroom and sat down with her phone in her hand, sighed loudly, rolled her eyes and asked what we had. I told her and she brought back 2 pieces of foil and one paper hoagie bag. I wasn't about to ask for another...we made it work. So then I went to use the restroom after wrapping the leftovers, no one else had gone in since the employee. The bathroom was filthy and there were no paper towels. At this I'm left to wonder, if she washed her hands. If so, the she knew there were no paper towels and just didn't care to replace them or did she not wash her hands at all? Overall, not a good experience and will not be returning or even ordering take out...
Read moreMy family and I moved to the area recently, and we were so excited to know that there was great pizza nearby. When I say great, it's most-likely the best traditional style pizza we've ever had. The home made sauce is great. Perfectly acidic, not too sweet, balanced with a crispy crust not too thin and not too thick. The cheese on top isn't overkilled, and it's cooked to perfection every time. Delicious. Anytime we order food from here (which is now 1-3 times a week lol) the food is never less than excellent. The food is hot, and anytime we call they say "25 minutes." Seems like every place these days is up over an hour.... Each visit, the staff has been totally friendly, and the owner comes out from the back to chat and meet his customers. I would suggest to try their steak (add banana peppers 👍 ) and Italian subs - they are equally as good as the pizza! We want to try other things on their menu, but it's hard to get away from what we love there already! As you can see, I can't speak highly enough...
Read moreI grew up in Ambridge eating Police Station and Frank’s Pizza, then moved to the South Hills and enjoyed Fiori’s, Mineo’s, and Slice on Broadway, so I’ve been spoiled with good pizza. Recently, I moved back to Beaver County and have been trying new pizza places and I have to say this place is right up there with all of those places. I called for a pickup and it was ready in the 40 minute timeframe they promised and the girl at the register was polite and welcoming. I received my pizza with no wait when I got there. The crust was hand tossed and crispy with nice bubbling to it, and not too thin or too thick. The sauce is robust and delicious, and the toppings were generously portioned. This is a great pie and reminded me a lot of Slice on Broadway, if you’ve ever had their pizza. We will definitely be coming back and it’s more than worth the drive across the river from Brighton Twp. Just an excellent experience all around. Highly...
