This breakfast restaurant truly deserves all the praise it receives, as it effortlessly combines fantastic dishes with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for families.

The interior of Shoo Shoo's Wooden Spoon is beautifully designed, with a rustic charm that adds to the overall ambiance. The atmosphere felt comfortable and inviting, making it easy for my family and I to relax and enjoy our meal.
What truly set Shoo Shoo's Wooden Spoon apart was the exceptional service we received. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and efficient. Our server took the time to explain the menu options and offer recommendations, ensuring that we made the best choices for our preferences. Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff remained attentive to our needs throughout the meal, ensuring that we had everything we required. The care and dedication they displayed were truly commendable.
In addition to the delicious food and impeccable service, Shoo Shoo's Wooden Spoon is a family-friendly establishment. The staff went above and beyond to make our children feel welcome and the kids' menu offered a range of options that catered to their tastes, making it a hassle-free dining experience for the whole family.

Read moreI didn't take any photos but that's because the food was so awesome that it didn't last long! I highly recommend this amazing little spot! The outside doesn't look like much but the inside is very homey with a farmhouse feel with custom decorations all around that you can buy. My husband and I both had the #5 which was the egg, cheese and homemade sausage gravy over biscuits and choice of potato. Let me tell you about this sausage gravy! Probably one of my top 3 I've ever had and better than most southern sausage gravy I've tasted. She makes it fresh everyday. They serve coffee from a local shop, Hallowed Grounds, which is amazing as always. We already get our coffee from HG so it's nice that they support the local spots. They have homemade cookies everyday (variety differs by day) and they are simple and delicious. People come by just to get cookies and leave. I recommend trying any kind they have. I heard they also have amazing cinnamon rolls but we haven't had the chance to try any yet because they sell out fast. They are open early and not past 11:30 on any day (12:30 on Saturdays) but I promise it's worth getting up early for this breakfast! The menu is simple yet effective. We will be back for sure!
PS: Also on our way out (we came close to closing) the owner was handing out some homemade coconut cake slices since she needed to get rid of it and when we got home and tased it....oh my goodness! It was also amazing and my husband doesn't even like coconut. Shoo...
Read moreSummary of our first visit: The Best Pancakes Ever!!! From the moment I walked in with my wife and daughter, every single person had a smile on their face and continued to give us friendly service throughout.
Service: One of the things that stood out was that all of the pressure of service wasn't on any one person. While we had a main server, they all worked together to bring dishes, stop to see how things were going and to make sure drinks were topped off. They all greeted us with a smile and good cheer! Outstanding approach!
Food: From the Beneighs to the Bacon to the flapjacks, the food was great! Fresh and hot. The pancakes were not "out of a box." It was clear that they were homemade with the vanilla overtones. Obviously, good ingredients used.
Atmosphere: Cozy and clean. As we dined, we noticed an eclectic and interesting choice of music playing in the background. On the way out, as we waited for the Mrs, we noticed an old school, working jukebox that was dialing up the tunes. As we noticed, they said, "play whatever you want!" They have it set to "free."
Bottom Line: Just a short drive from everywhere in Beaver County, stop into The Wooden Spoon for what is, in our opinion, the best breakfast in...
