McDonald's — Restaurant in New Britain

The food here is always fresh it's one of the only 24-hour McDonald's in this area and the people that work here overnight are not begrudging or rude, they are very kind and helpful and take pride in their job. They actually open their doors for the dining room at the listed time which is amazing in this day and age because most fastfood places (especially McDonald's) the employees just decide when they feel like opening the dining room and some of them don't open it until close to 9:30 in the morning even though it's listed to open at 5:30 or 6 and then they close it at like 5:30 or 6 at night even though it's listed to stay open until 8:30 or even 9, but I digress. The only thing I would say is there are a lot of nomadic individuals in the parking lot and along the drive-thru asking for change or food, to me it's not the end of the world I understand they need money and they're hungry I personally don't mind it but I know some people do and it's not even that you don't like the nomads it's just that there are a lot of single ladies out there that are coming here at night and it's just scary so I completely get it there's also a hotel right next door and it attracts a certain kind of crowd which can be off-putting at times. I will say this, one good thing is that the police station is literally right in the back of the parking lot for the business next door so nothing bad really actually goes on here at all but I understand why some people would be apprehensive to come in the evening. But if you're good with that it's a great place to come when the bars close downtown and you're hungry from a night of dancing. I love this particular McDonald's its staff is very friendly and seems to move at a fast pace as it should because it's a fast food restaurant What makes this place great is there's always parking and the location is right off the highway in downtown New Britain Connecticut it's right next to the CT Transit fast track which can get you all over New Britain and other cities in a state like Hartford and Bristol this location is usually clean with the bathroom being one of the most decent I have seen at any McDonald's location this staff seems to move very quickly I usually order through the mobile app walking to the location and just pick up my order and go but sometimes I sit down and dine in (mostly for the free refills if I feel thirsty) there's usually a very good atmosphere here it's family-friendly with the New Britain police station close by on Main Street it doesn't have a lot of the problems other McDonald's locations does as I haven't seen a fight at this location yet, at at least not between the service people and customers nor customer vs customer. This is a location where you can bring your family and feel safe I haven't seen people arguing with the staff about messed up orders or dirty bathrooms when I do dine-in I constantly see staff members cleaning up the location inside and outside of the restaurant. Overall it's one of the best McDonald's I have ever been to it also has just been newly renovated into one of the newer looking McDonald establishments going off the yellow one gold colorings of the building it's now a gray black brown shade which many people joke makes the restaurant look like "Old...

Manuel P., drive-thru order taker, & Neishkly T., manager were EXCELLENT on Monday. We were ordering for 11 in the drive-thru. Manuel was quite patient with me, despite my impatience. And with a big order, he took initiative, and when we arrived at the pay window, the Manager Neishkly was there to confirm the order. Smart man. Then Neishkly took over, reconfirmed the order, then walked the order to the pick-up window and reconfirmed everything was properly filled and in our bags. For the first time EVER, I didn't have to check or worry if my large order was wrong (it happens a lot). Both these individuals are candidates are why the best O/O's (owner/operator) are homegrown. Neishkly is ready for corp. to sponsor her to become an O/O. And Manuel, if he wants, could walk down that path. In the end, the food was fresh & sizzling, and we were well-fed.
