Scarlet Deli and Pizza — Restaurant in New Brunswick

This place is a mixed bag. I've gotten food so delicious I want to eat it every day from here but I've also gotten greasy inedible food. Their fat sandwiches are great most of the time but like I said before every now and then they're actually really bad and I don't know why the quality is not consistent. I've never had a good breakfast sandwich from here though. The bread is always old tasting, eggs are just slightly overcooked and they really skim on the breakfast meat. Like how are you going to put so much dry overcooked egg on an old keiser roll with a sausage patty that only fills 75% of the bread space? How is a sandwich with melted cheese in it dry? I digress. At the very least the people who work here are always pleasant! And overall I'd say my non-breakfast orders have been better more...

Most of the food is usually decent, good for a quick stop, historically atleast. I just got a Reuben and that thing should be taken off the menu. That was the worse thing I've ever had. Didn't have time to go back so I just ate the bread but the meat was dry, almost grey, and when separated from the sandwich, was pungent. The sauerkraut tasted like fish oil. Not sure if it's new ownership because that thing was a blast in the past, but that was really really bad.

However, atleast the staff...
