Nancy's — Restaurant in New Buffalo

Went to the beach on the 26th of June early before the rain came in. The Hawaiian ice was amazing and the ice cream as well. Service was beyond amazing as well. One of the few reasons i will give a 5 star rating if i could give 10 i would. As we waited for our train ride to arrive unfortunately we got poured on they we so nice to open their doors to us and our group. In our group we had 14 ppl 5 of us are kids and 2 babies under 2. Plus we also had 2 other ppl join us a grandmother and her granddaughter. A total of 16 ppl. They literally open their doors and allowed us to stay until our train arrived. They were all so sweet and nice. Words would never be able to express how truly nice they were. My family and I are from Texas we would definitely make a trip back just for this place. Thank you again for everything and we will definitely be back again. 10 Star...

Went to Nancy’s for lunch since I work in the area and was extremely disappointed. 4.50 cents for a hot dog with a max of three toppings for a bun that is as hard and stale as could be. I ordered two dogs and a shake and came out shy of 20$ for what was supposed to be a light lunch. I feel there is no real management that runs the place but rather a bunch of kids trying to make a buck on the tourist town. Food was terrible, prices a bit insane and overall a terrible experience and won’t be back. Try steaming the buns next time and including options to put more on the dog than just 3 items. My buddy had cheese fries and the cheese was burnt! Felt like robbery from the second I got my food and realized “I just spent 20$ on THIS?!!” Hope you learn to take a bit more pride in your work for returning customers than those who are just...

Super disappointed. Stopped here because it was busy and seemed like it would be a tasty bite. Ordered a chocolate milkshake and received a vanilla milkshake made with chocolate syrup which was confusing considering they have chocolate ice cream, when I asked apparently they have two kinds of milkshakes and I was supposed to know to order with actually chocolate ice cream. Instead of just fixing it and giving me what I ordered they rather give me a refund which is fine even though I offered to pay the difference and I gave the drink back... I'll grab one from somewhere with better customer service. Also, what is this mess!? Like I paid for this and this is how you give it to me. I should have gotten a refund...
