Greens on the Go — Restaurant in New Canaan

I WAS a regular customer here, but I won’t order from them again. I had a to go order that was supposed to be ready at 5:40. At 5:56 I had to get the attention of the staff to let them know I had to leave to pick up my child. There was no one out at the counter and I had already paid.

They said I needed to wait a few more minutes and I explained I could not do that and would have to pick up my child and then come back. When I returned 10 minutes later my order still wasn’t packed up and ready to go, and they packaged and sent out two other orders before I was even helped. Really? I’ll go to Green and Tonic or Organika Kitchen next time.

My family and I were visiting family in Norwalk and were referred to Greens on the Go in New Canaan. We had an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was delicious. I personally enjoyed the Spring Bowl with Tofu, which was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I also tried the Pitaya Island and it was an absolute must-try – such a delightful treat! I have a lot of allergies to chemicals/preservatives, so I try to eat clean, healthy, wholesome foods. I appreciate Greens on the Go and their attention to detail. Alyssa handcrafts delicious dishes that are health conscious and friendly to those of us who like to be able to pronounce their ingredients - her food is a knockout. SO GOOD! Clean eating!
