I prefer to support small businesses 100% and I would continue to go here over Starbucks. But with that, my biggest gripe is they don’t list prices on any menu item so you have no idea how much anything cost until you make your purchase. It’s been like this long before Covid. Of course I can ask how much menu items cost but tbh I should not have to ask them how much 3 - 4 different items cost so I can make a purchase decision. It should be listed. The food is okay. It was nothing special but not terrible. I feel like they use to have better bagels but they are just average. The bagel tasted like it was from Aldi and the cream cheese spread was very sparsely applied and for the price there should have been more cream cheese. The bagels use to be great here and now they are blah. It wasn’t cheap and that’s okay if the quality is maintained but there was no cream cheese on the bagel. Staff is friendly tho. And it’s a nice community hub/3rd space option to have but I was not impressed two times in a row now. Not sure...
Read moreTheir food seems fine. Their coffee is better than getting it from a chain. My only complaint with this place is the lack of transparency. They don’t list their prices on their menu, so you have to resort to asking the lady at the counter for how much it is to add or modify something. I ordered an avocado toast my first time but I wasn’t a fan as it was lacking so many ingredients and flavor. They overcharged my husband for his red eye which is silly because it’s on the menu but the girl at the counter must’ve been new because she didn’t know what it was and charged him separately for the espresso shots which came out to a couple bucks more than what he should’ve been charged. We noticed it after we were done eating there and he didn’t want to say anything. I just think that someone should’ve been there to train her and make sure that customers were being charged properly. Restaurant prices keep going up and I understand that, which is why I think it’s also important to list your prices for...
Read moreDelicious coffee and hot bagel sandwiches!! I come by Harrisburg every few weeks and decided to check this place out. I ordered a caramel iced coffee and a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel.
The bagel was delicious and very large for the price! I think they source their bagels from a local store, and you can definitely tell. The bagel itself was soft and bursting with everything bagel seasoning. Also, the sausage itself was really good, not too salty and the right amount of porky flavor. I would say the sandwich itself was about 2.5 inches in height!
The iced coffee was the perfect amount of sweet and creamy. Oftentimes, caramel iced coffee can be made too sweet and the balance of bitterness from the coffee, sweetness from the caramel, and creaminess from the milk can be heavily skewed to the sweetness of the caramel. This is not what you find with their iced coffee.
Will definitely come back to try more coffee and maybe even...
