Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in New Hope

I've been to Jet's several times, after last night's experience I had to write a review. We called in an order, arrived at the time it was expected to be done. I paid and was told it would be "a couple minutes". I stood there and waited for 15 minutes. Every few minutes I'd hear the guy in the back take glee in screaming at the top of his lungs "DELIVERY UP!". It was literally painful to my ears, I don't know how the other employees can tolerate that. I watched as they'd put the orders up by the front counter, and the delivery folks would take them away. Finally the lady at the front counter walked to the back, poked around on top of a shelf and brought that to me, my pizza. THAT pizza had been sitting there for a long time, and nobody even whispered that there was an order up. I appreciate they want to put out delivery orders quickly, but why would you put the delivery orders up by the front counter, SCREAM about them, but leave the pickup orders in the back and not say anything? I took my pizza and left, only to discover when I got home that they hadn't put the Turbo crust on my pizza as we asked for. It was insult to injury, I'm quite upset. Fact is, they don't care about you if you're going to pick it up. Order delivery I guess, they seem to care about...

I don't typically write reviews unless I am WOWed or, like in this case, EXTREMELY put off. Great pizza is the only thing Jet's has left going for them. My family orders pizza at least every other week. Jet's was a "treat" for us because of the 8 corner pie until recently. The last 3 times we called ahead an order for carry out, were all a huge let down. 1st let down was waiting with our 3 year old in the store for 20 minutes while our pizza sat in the warmer the whole time. = cold pizza. 2nd let down was again, waiting in store, to find out they gave our pizza to someone else that walked out with it mistakenly. They offered to make another but waiting another 20 minutes was not an option. = no pizza. 3rd and last time we ordered ahead and were told 20 minutes. Arrived 12 minutes later and were told it had not been started yet and that it'll be another 15 minutes. We were then told that they already charged our card for the order "per instructions written on our account by the owner" after saying thanks, but no thanks. = Tacos. Never once did they apologize or offer any sort of discount, only excuses. Waiting to see...

I've been ordering from this location for years. The prices now are so outrageous I can't justify buying food here anymore. I ordered an 8 corner with turbo crust, extra sauce, sausage peperoni and a 2ltr Pepsi. They're usually here in about 20 minutes. This guy took the whole 60 minutes. The total bill was $44.00. You should get three pizzas for this amount of money. And that was before the tip.

Guy shows up just under the wire. Hands me a 2lr of Coke and say's "sorry we were out of Pepsi did you want to be refunded for that?" I replied no. I was expecting the usual exemplary pizza I've gotten for years. The guy also had no pen. You want people to tip you? Bring a pen.

I opened the box and the pizza was luke warm at best. Bordering cold. I paid for extra sauce and got none. I understand that you'll get a dud once in a while but for over 50.00 with tip? That's not a risk I'm willing to take.

Cheaper, easier and better when it's homemade. Bye bye jets. It was nice knowing you. I'll give you a 2nd chance but not for 50.00. I'll come back when the money tree I planted in the...
