Bad service and read other reviews seems like it's an ongoing problem. When the owner or higher up is not there young girls working just screwing around. This was my 3 times going. Not going back. The wait is is usually 5 to 7 minutes per car. So if they have 4-5 cars in front of you. Your going to be waiting over 25-30 minutes before you get your food. Order 2 snowball and it took 6 minutes at the window.... Never been to a snowball place that took over 3 minutes tops for just snowballs. Must of had to wait for the ice to freeze.... Ordered one snowball stuffed. She even repeated the order and when handing the snowball to me she said here is your strawberry stuffed. Well it wasn't stuffed. The other snowball they forgot to put cream. When asked about it they took it back and barely put any on top. The stuffed was for girlfriend so I didn't know till I go home. It's a shame if this place doesn't get its act together it might not make it. And before anyone says you don't know what's its like working food. Did it for 13 years so I know a thing or two. Also seems like I got a weird look if you do tip. I tip for service provided at a restaurant when eating inside. Don't expect to get tip if i order to go. That's what you get paid for. This tipping for every little thing I believe has gotten out of hand. Want a tip be a waiter or deliver my food. I'll gladly do 20%. Good help is very hard to find but I think the owner or team lead need to be there when open. Good luck and hope y'all...
Read moreI would be remiss if I did not share my experience with you all. Knowing that I wanted more than just something quick, I dutifully called my order in ahead of time and was given a 15 minute wait time. Perfect, I'll be there in 15. Driving up and getting my order was quick and all things positive. But what has stayed with me was the most visceral and cosmic experience in my life! Being a curious customer, I tend to try something new anywhere I go. Today, the day my life changed forever, I ordered a strawberry Red Bull slush, boudin grill cheese, and tots. One might be thinking, how is this life changing? I took one sip of the sweet and slushy concoction and my world went from gray to technicolor. It was perfect! Not too sweet but so refreshing! I saw stars I tell you, stars! And I think to myself, there is no way anything could top this, in which I am here to also say I was quite wrong. The first bite into that buttery, melty, savory boudin grilled cheese and I was elevated into Cajun Heaven. I could hear the Zydeco playing and my Granny whispering from the grave, "You've made it, sha!" RIP Alberta, she was a real one. The cheese pull was just the icing on the proverbial King Cake. But I digress, to say this meal was nothing short of poetry would be a lie. My arteries may hate me, but my taste buds will never know flavor town quite like this again. Unless I go back for seconds which I am now...
Read moreIt’s rare I write a review, but it’s rare I enjoy a place to the point of needing to leave a review. I have spent an embarrassing amount of money at this establishment, I have been many, many times and not once have had a bad experience. The customer service can truly make or break a place and it never fails. That window is immediately opened by a server with a smile and an eagerness to serve. The food is absolutely delicious. The boudin egg rolls are to die for and I usually pair it with a boudin grilled cheese or boudin tots (my personal fave) also, the king cake Bayou Sneaux is out of this world. Great place, great food, great employees,...
