3 month update: unfortunately, to much chagrin it is no longer a late night option. The business hours have changed 3-4 times since opening, causing difficulties to make plans. The tint on the windows make it hard to see if they are open when passing by, even though there is an open sign, it’s still hard to determine whether or not it’s open, unless you stop and try the door. I haven’t seen much signage or advertising around town. The coffee quality and staff friendliness is still 10/10. Stick it out ! 👍🏻

NEW IBERIA COME OUT AND SUPPORT THIS LOCALLY OWNED COFFEE SHOP WITH LATE HOURS!!!! So happy and thrilled to have a place with decently late hours to come hang out or get an after dinner dessert/treat. FINALLY 🙌🏻 The shop itself is decorated beautifully and has a chill atmosphere, there’s tables and a sofa with some cute little chair swings that add a nice little fun vibe. Drive thru available which is a big plus! (Must be accessed via Oak Street) The amount of pastries, desserts and snacks is incredible!!! Some are homemade and some from local vendors. The turkey breakfast roll was really good, amazing cheesecake and delicious seasonal cookies. The coffee is a 10/10, it’s locally roasted exclusively for Komade. I got a Peppermint toasted marshmallow latte ! It’s owned and ran by a young local entrepreneur, thanks for opening this!! Best of luck, hope you are open for many years to come! Will definitely be back soon 💚

One word covers Komade “ Outstanding”. See that little dot after the word outstanding. It is there for more than punctuation purposes. If you want a solid coffee, tea, breakfast or other sandwiches, snacks or sweet treats. Komade has you covered. If you need something early they open at 0600. If it's that time of year when New Iberia has you sweating just walking from one air conditioned refuge to another. Komade has refreshing frozen coffees and lemonade drinks to help stop your shirt from sticking to your back. All centrally located for easy access from most corners of the Berry. Are you in a hurry, hit the drive through. Got a little more time and feel like decompressing in a cool, relaxing refuge. Head inside and enjoy the mellow atmosphere and very kind employees. Give Komade a try and spread the word. Supporting an awesome local business is the best way to maintain our local options and avoid the ever present corporate garbage aimed at generating revenue and not decent food and drink. Have a great day and grab something from Komade when you...

My wife and I traveled from MS and found this place through google reviews. Seeing that it had 5 stars, we had to check it out. Without any question, they live up to the reviews. This isn’t a place for those rushing to get a normal cup of coffee. This is where you go to enjoy a cup unlike any coffee my wife and I have ever tried across the world. Most everything there is either their own blend that they created, or sourced locally, or personally developed, which gives this location its signature. The owners and workers are incredibly friendly and willing to give their stories about the location and its creation. Between the chai, the cafe au lait, and boudin sandwiches, all of which took our favorite spots, Komade is the gem that true coffee lovers worldwide should...

We have been going to this independent family owned coffee shop for a couple years now. Friendly people, great coffee. They now have a great, cold VEGAN pasta salad and tastiest dressing, with perfectly cooked pasta - just right. I’m a vegan, so delighted with this development. Some of their other dishes can be altered to be vegetarian or vegan friendly (by leaving out certain elements) eg their avocado toast. My wife and friends (who are not vegan) love their other dishes and their pastries. Highly recommend.

I love the atmosphere here. Such a cute little coffee shop. I love the komade craze with toasted marshmallow syrup. My husband has tried the london fog, the matcha tea, the dirty Chai coffee, and the americano and loved them all. The cinnamon rolls are huge and good. We also love the blueberry scones. The service is awesome. Very friendly people. Kylie is very friendly. This is definitely my coffee spot.
