Firehouse subs — Restaurant in New Iberia

When I went to place an order, the person at the register was taking their sweet time trying to tape a receipt to a bag. One of the line staff noticed I was just standing there and let the register person know that there was a customer, when she slowly picked her head up. Took a solid 5 minutes to place my order because she didn't know where any of the buttons were for toppings. Other than that, its a typical trip to Firehouse Subs. Good selection of sandwiches and salads. Food was on par with Firehouse. But the service? I know workers are hard to come by, but please try to hire some more motivated employees, and train them properly. I can only imagine what it was like during rush times. 4/5 for food taste, price, and value. 1/5...

Firehouse sub literally saved my husband’s life.

While driving home in bad weather, he stopped off to get food from there. Their power went out and they still served him food! Unbeknownst to him, a tornado struck a minute down the road from firehouse sub while he was getting his food. If he wouldn’t have stopped, he would’ve driven through a tornado and could have possibly been injured or killed.

Coincidence? I think not. All the employees at firehouse sub deserve bonuses. They literally served him food during a tornado and unknowingly saved his life.

Food is good But, the service at this location is literally the worst of any food place I've been to in my life. I just walked out without ordering. There were 6 employees, literally, just standing there laughing and looking at their phones as I stood there for two minutes waiting to order. Three of them looked my way but went straight back to their phones and not one ever approached me to take my order so I walked out. That is the second time something like this has happened and I've only been in this place two times so I will NEVER come back to...
