UPDATE* Retrned with another large group of friends today. I brought my own food because i know they will not accommodate my allergies. Even tho i was with a group of 16 who purchased the buffett, the waitress felt the need to tell me i am not welcome to bring my own food into the restaurant!!!! We explained i have allergies and cannot eat anything at the restaurant. She did not care and said that is still the rule. Wow....just WOW!!!! This is honestly the WORST place in town for customer treatment. I am shocked at the treatment. I will NEVER return. And i will not bring my large groups with me.
I was really happy to find out that they have food that I can eat with my dietary restrictions. I have allergies that prevent me from eating out at most places. I went here with friends and family and saw that they have a hibachi-style grill and veggie rolls. Both of which I can usually enjoy. However, I was not able to because they were unwilling to clean the grill after preparing a noodle dish ( I am allergic to wheat) and they would not use new clean utensils for preparing my food. So the hibachi was out. I looked to the veggie rolls next. They were on the buffet and clearly had crust crumbs ( bright orange) on the exterior from cross-contamination during assembly. I cannot have these crumbs so I asked the sushi chef to wipe down his station and knife and prepare a new roll for me. It is a buffet so I assured him I would eat all of the roll and then probably come back for more because it was the only thing on the buffet that I could eat. He refused to make more veggie rolls before the 6 pieces already out on the buffet were gone. I explained to him that I could not eat those pieces and he did not care. He refused to make more. So I went back to join my friends content to enjoy my beverage and the company. The waiter suggested I get white rice off the buffet to eat...I had brought my allergy-free sauce from home, so I thought...OK, why not. At least have something while my family ate. So I got a small bowl and put a cup of rice in it. I ate most of it. I was not satisfied with the experience but I thought oh well now I know. I cannot eat here. But.....to add insult to injury....when my husband went to pay we were charged the full $10.95 buffet price for me to eat one small bowl of dry white rice!!!! Needless to say, we will NEVER return. And I strongly discourage anyone else from eating at this place. They are not customer oriented. And we all deserve better treatment for our hard-earned money. Go to Pho Ly Ly just a block away. Read moreHorrible service. The food is definitely good however me and my boyfriend had a horrible experience. As we were eating it had been maybe 40 minutes and I seen, heard two waitresses talking about us. One of the waitresses were like “they are taking too long they need to hurry up I need to clean to close up.” Mind you there was still over an hour till closing. The waitress she was then taking to said, “yeah they are I was gonna go tell them they need to finish up but didn’t want to seem rude.” The other waitress then replied with “ yeah but they’ve been here long enough they need to hurry up and leave.” Ps I know they were taking about us because they were looking directly at us as they were saying all this. Read moreI love this restaurant. Everything is always on point, but today was a bit disturbing. To each their own, but in a buffet setting it should be mandated that everyone sanitize. I asked the hostess and she proceeded to tell me that they don't enforce sanitizing anymore because COVID isn't here. Am I in some foreign element that I didn't know COVID was gone? I find it very disgusting to walk in off the streets and not sanitize and go straight play over food that others have to serve also. One man was physically picking his nose while at the hostess stand waiting to be seated. And if they touching all the plates (for dine in or carryout), that's just nasty.
