Kim's Chinese Food — Restaurant in New Iberia

This place USE TO BE great. The service n quality have gone down. The rice is hit or miss and believe me order your food fresh because the buffet will disappoint you. The buffet is limited and the food is not always hot n fresh. It never stays stocked u have to wait or ask them to bring or restock fresh food. Ordering fresh can be challenging as they skimp on the meats especially the shrimp with any order. Chicken wings still have feathers and or not plucked completely. The ribs would be awesome if they werent so dang tough. For the prices you pay you get less and nothing of what you pay for. Kims disappoints me everytime i try giving them another chance...

Service was horrible. We sit and waited about 5 minutes before we was acknowledged all while the waitresses stood at register. Food was good if you could eat it. It was COLD! Fish was inedible because it was so cold. When I brought it to the waitress attention. Her response.. "it's probably because it's not busy. I'll tell the owner" I told her that was no excuse because we are paying customers. Nothing was done about my complaint. Good quality Chinese food for a decent price I ordered to go from the menu, and the food was done in about 20 minutes. Portions were generous, and the food tasted grate . I had the green onions delight with treasure island stake as an appetizer. I would definitely recommend the green onion delight. The treasure island stake in flavor was good, but the meat was a bit tough . My wife had the combination Fried Rice with Chinese chicken Wings, and both got a thumbs-up.
