Fleckenstein's Bakery — Restaurant in New Lenox

Had to cancel my Christmas order, because apparently they do not know how to use their own website. I had a pickup time of 1:30 on Christmas Eve. There were later times as well, and I now 5 days after I place the order (hours before the Christmas ordering closes) I receive a phone call letting me know they will be closed at that time and I would have to come earlier. As someone who works for a living I couldn’t leave work even earlier to pickup. My money has already been taken from my account for this. They had no other options so basically it was like they told me to go to hell. The only reason I still ordered from this bakery is because it was a tradition started by my mother who passed away two years ago. So now I’m left with nothing. Will NEVER give them my business again....

I ordered 60 cupcakes, half chocolate and half white with blue frosting and sprinkles for my daughter's baby shower. When I picked up this large order, I was so happy to see how well they were packaged. Not only were they in plastic individually, but then placed 12 to a box, so they were not overcrowded and the boxes were easy to deliver. The employees were so helpful, putting them in my car. My young son and I started a tradition on Fridays to get doughnuts before school as something to look forward to during the week. We have consistently been to Fleckensteins for over a year now and the service is always amazing. The staff on Friday mornings are the most friendly and kind people you will meet.
