Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in New Lenox

Went there today to pick up 3 meal combos. One meal combo was supposed to be a LG with two sides and the other two were Regulars with 1 side. Per the website and the Drive thru menu you get two sides with a LG meal. When she told me my total it was $48. I thought that was a bit steep for 3 meals. When I got to the window I asked the cashier if she could repeat my meal, she did and it was "correct" and then I gave her my debit card. After she gave me the receipt I looked it over and noticed she charged me for 2 REG meals and a LG meal, but I was also charged for a LG mac n cheese by itself (Which was $8 dollars, and this is a SMALL size cup for their "LG"). I said these were supposed to be meals, I didn't ask for the mac n cheese separate. I asked if I could give her back the mac n cheese and get a refund. The girl seemed clueless and grabbed another lady who just said WE DONT REFUND. So I said okay, cool. I'll never be back and I'm writing a review. There is NO way they couldn't have refunded me or at least even apologized, which they didn't. At the end of the day it was an $8 dollar mac n cheese, it is what it is, but they are ridiculous for that one.

Also the mac n cheese was soaked in oil, they messed up and gave me one spicy sandwich and one regular (They were both supposed to be spicy) and the biscuits were hard. Not a good...

$140 order completely wrong, this was for a get together and most the food was for kids. This was bad from the get go. To start with I picked up the food and they forgot to include the gallon of tea. Luckily I only went a couple blocks before realizing and came back, inconvenient but I would have not complained about a mistake like that. Then I get home(15-20 minutes away) and realize the classic chicken tenders for the kids are bone in chicken... I called in and they wanted to to come and swap it out... Nice offer but I'm not wasting another hour on their mistake when I already have guests over waiting and hungry, so the manager agreed to give us a free 16pc tender meal next time we come in, which is at least something. Then once I deboned half the chicken for the kids I find out it is spicy meaning the kids can't eat any of the chicken we purchased. I called back again and the only thing they offered was to remake the order. I'm sorry but I'm not wasting another hour on a business that can't get it together. This is outrageous and I will NOT...

This was our first time at the New Lenox store today 9-23-23, and we are thrilled!!! This is closer than the Lockport store, and that's awesome! We went in and the restaurant and it was clean, and we had an Awesome Manager "Jason" take our order. He was a super nice guy such an awesome personality. We placed our order with some coupons we got of the app, and we had to wait a few minutes because they were busy. But he gave us the sauces and made sure we had everything in our bag. The food was delicious, no issues and we will definitely go there again and hopefully "Jason" (I hope I got his name correct- Just look for the guy with the awesome Tats!) hopefully he will take our order again! The crew in the back was moving, man I have never seen a Popeyes employees move so fast they were amazing, like a well-oiled machine.
