I typically don’t write reviews often, but this felt necessary. I go to this location in new Lenox because it is fast pace. I go through drive thru usually before work to get drinks in the morning around 10. The employees are always nice and welcoming. However, the young man that took my order and helped me at the window was on another level rude. I order two drinks today, an ice chai tea and an iced vanilla latte. I get to the window and the guy with curly hair and ear piercings did not greet me. Gave me my drinks and one of them was wrong. The latte was given hot when I had asked for iced. I know it was a small mistake and the workers are usually nice about it. Though, the guy gave me a dirty look and you can see in his body language he was annoyed. I work with customers in the food service so I understand how he felt but it was unprofessional. When I got my ice chai as well, it was mostly milk. Read moreWent to the drive thru the other day to get a refresher to brighten my day up before work. I was having kind of an off day but as soon as I pulled up to order, I was greeted with a genuine smile (you could definitely hear it in his voice) and with great hospitality! Nick, the barista, made the drive thru experience memorable and personal. He checked on the status of a product for me & helped me figure out what was best to order. When I pulled up to the window, it was nothing shy of great customer service and a genuine, positive attitude from him. He even complimented my tattoos, which is always a rewarding feeling! (lol). Nick is a great employee with a big heart at the Starbucks on RT 30! He’s definitely going to change a lot of people’s mornings around just by being him! Read moreNice people. They either can’t or don’t care to get an order right. They use the wrong lids for a drink carrier and have the drink spill all over my vehicle, multiple times. The store gives different food items than you order. If you get one thing it’s fine you can correct their mistake. It’s hard to check every single item for a large order. Even the Dunkin donuts nearby is significantly better quality and lower cost. After this final experience I won’t be back at Starbucks for a long while. 72 dollars spilled all over my car.
