Its just so frustrating. They are always so close and yet so far on their order fulfillment. On the one hand the service is friendly, and the restaurant is clean, generally speaking the line moves fairly quickly. However there is ALWAYS something wrong with our order. Always!
I can only think of one or two times for the nearly 2 times a week we've gone in the last year that we haven't had to go park and wait for 5 - 10 minutes for them to bring our order to us. Far worse than this however, is the fact that I can't think of a single time that there hasn't been something wrong with our order. Every time there's a mistake and many times its a fairly big one.
Most of the time its understandable. My husband always orders a second bag of chips for himself, but they always seem to miss that I should be getting something as well with my pick two or simply a whole salad and they still charge us for the second bag of chips. Many times, like today, they don't even ask what I want for the side, and to be honest I'm too tired of it to tell them anymore. If I wasn't so interested in a healthier choice I wouldn't come here its so frustrating.
Most times after receiving our order I'll have to go back into the store with the receipt and wait to get their attention and then explain what we're missing. A few times its actually been something bigger like an entire sandwich was missing a few months ago from our order. Today it wasn't apparent until we got home. My husband ordered a grilled cheese, it was warm, so wouldn't assume anything was wrong. However, when he opened the sandwich the cheese was completely un-melted. Read moreMy daughter and I went to Panera Bread in New Milford for lunch on 3/10/23. We ordered from the kiosk, there were no buzzers available so the kiosk said my name would be called when our order was ready. My daughter ordered a teriyaki chicken rice bowl with no cilantro and I ordered a sandwich. Our name was never called, we had to go and check if our food was ready. My daughter's teriyaki chicken rice bowl had so much cilantro on it that you could barely see the food under it. She took it back to the window and told them it was not supposed to have cilantro on it, the girl that took it from her was pleasant and said they would take care of it, just as she finished speaking the other girl that was there turned and ask the girl that took the food back if she had ever seen the movie Waiting. For anyone that doesn't know the movie it is about what kitchen staff does to your food when you return it because of an error, and it's not pleasant. She did eat her lunch but only because she stood there and watched everything that went on with fixing her meal. Was the comment poorly timed one has to wonder and honestly if it wasn't for the fact that she could see them fix the error we would have asked for our money back and left without eating there. Both at the register inside and in the drive through they exchange pleasantries with customers which is so refreshing in a world where nowadays customer service is dead & many places can’t bother with hello, thank you, have a nice day etc. The food is correct temperature and fresh, the restaurant is clean and well stocked. I’ve been getting sip club drinks for the past few months while under the promo price of about $3.50/mo but that’s going to end soon & I won’t renew for $12/mo - however I’ll still be back for the Value Duets which are a good deal.
