My wife and I have given this restaurant multiple tries and each time the service and food have been sub-par. The past two times we have ordered food to go, only to arrive to our orders being incorrect or completely forgotten. Both times we both ordered their "grande burrito" and both times it was a strain to communicate our order over the phone due to the person on the other end either not knowing the menu and/or not understanding what we were saying. Both times we eventually we completed the orders and were told 15-20 minutes to pick up. Upon pickup the first time we arrived to our "grande burritos" actually being two small tacos with a salad.... the apologized for the mistake and and retook our order. Upon pickup the second time we arrived to them giving us an order that wasn't ours, then taking our order a second time and sending it back to the kitchen because it was never placed. So both times after waiting 15-20 minutes to go pick up the orders, then waiting another 15 minutes for them to correct our orders, we take our food home to eat only to find that it is cold and the burritos were falling apart like they were just quickly thrown together (Mind you we live less than 5 minutes away, so the food shouldn't be cold by then). Needless to say, this place will not be getting another chance. You might as well order Mexican food from Taco Bell because the food and service is leaps and bounds ahead of the New...
Read moreEl Coyote has become a monthly stop for us. In the light of full-disclosure, the coupons they put out help us to keep coming in. Warm chips and salsa are placed on the table and generously refilled. Soda's have free refills. I'm a big fan of that. The food is fairly priced and the portion size enough for us to take home a small lunch for the next day. The server's are very attentive. In fact, we have found that they "tag-team". Whoever is next to you will make sure you're ok and not just wait until your server is around. That's impressive. The front room is good for quieter eating but they also have a room that would sit a very large group. There is also a bar area. The only thing we're not impressed with is their drinks. We're not big drinkers however so my opinion isn't worth much...
Read moreI can't say how happy I am that I stopped here for lunch on the way home, from picking up my motorcycle. I am a huge fan of Mexican food and some of my favorite places have gone out of business for one reason or another like The Cantina in Ardsley New York or Casa Miguel in My Kisco NY they both had some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. El Coyote's owner has lineage to long gone Casa Migeul and,the food here was on point absolutely fantastic the salsa I thought I would never have again has resurfaced here what an amazing find anyone that enjoys amazing Mexican food needs to stop here and try it. The jalapeno poppers were light and crispy and the enchiladas were amazing. Try it you'll be...
