Good afternoon my fellow pizza fanatics. I have a place that makes hot honey pizza called “The Hotshot”. Saprano’s in New Milford, Nj. I guess some genius named Carlos didn’t have anything better to do than make a pizza that will haunt me in my sleep. The first bite I was caught off guard because I thought I just ordered a thin crust pepperoni Sicilian slice. When sweet juices hit my tongue it was like a wake up slap, I became alive. The sauce is no ordinary sauce either, they use vodka sauce as the base. All I have left to say is God is good, but he was great to inspire Carlos to make this pizza. Btw, Rachel the redhead is the super cool hostess that makes you feel like she known you forever. I love this place, you gotta got

I like the fact they made everything at the premises. All the dishes were fresh. French fries was large, they really mean it it's a lot! I'm sure it would have been crisper if we eat it right there in the store. Eggplant parmesan sandwich was okay. Buffalo chicken pizza was the one I really looking forward to. Very creative but very salty for my taste. It would probably be better with more toppings on to offset the saltiness and give it more layers of flavors. Will try other varieties next time. There are so many more pizzas on their menu. Will support our local store!

Soprano's Pizza offers a large menu with pizza, sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. They do offer tables for dining in but most of their business is for take out. They're reliable with orders, and deliver on time. They have great pizza and consistently cook it to perfection so the toppings are hot and the crust is crispy. To top it off they have friendly service. They're located in a plaza, so parking can be tight up front, but there's always room in the back.

My third incident with them with delivery problems/and order taking and I’m done with this place. 3 strikes you’re out! It’s sad because I’m frequent customer throughout the years. They told me it would be 30-40 mins for delivery it turned into an hour and 10 mins for a pie and a salad. They’re only located 7 mins away. Also, when I ordered before she ran my card info she asked me “do you want to leave a tip on card?” I said “no” (which leaves me to believe the delivery drivers will be slacking KNOWING there isn’t a CARD tip but I WAS going to tip cash) then she goes…..”So you’re going to tip cash?” First off don’t ask if I’m tipping or not. It’s optional technically (even though I’m a tipper) I thought it was utterly RIDICULOUS and RUDE and let’s not mention INVASIVE! Just to be told we ask everyone that. Well FYI you shouldn’t makes the business sound bad IMO. I’ve worked at pizzeria - doing counter/waitressing before and I would’ve never ask about tips, and heard it all when it comes to tipping from the drivers. I do want to mention there are hard working drivers/waitresses/waiters/bus boys out there and get tipped crappy which isn’t fair but what can you do? Unfortunately it’s part of the game. That’s why I’m a generous tipper with great service! But the girl taking the order it’s not your responsibility to earn that tip. The driver should be being on time and respectful of others peoples time and money, considering this place is OVER priced but the food is good so I dealt with it.

Waiting for order…..

Then I called inquiring about it around the 45 min mark and kept being put on hold and trying to “figure” it out where the delivery guy was and when he left. The girl talking didn’t care obviously based on her attitude on the phone. I was on hold longer than being helped. She kept saying he’s right there he’ll be there in 5 mins which turned into over 10 more minutes. I understand businesses get busy especially at dinner hour, but don’t lie about the time frame. I don’t mind waiting if I was told the correct wait and delivery time when I first ordered. The delivery drivers lately that I’ve gotten are young and careless and get mad when you don’t tip A LOT and I tip generously based on my experiences at businesses. But at the end of the day they need more professional staff. After receiving my refund. I ordered from Luciano’s in Westwood and had a pizza and salad delivered to me in 35 minutes the time frame they said it would be. The food is good, staff is always polite and amazing. Plus they’re 15 mins from me and still delivered better than this place! Save your time and money and go somewhere else when it comes to delivery at least. Otherwise expect...

Update: October 2024. One day, when Soprano's was closed, we tried the other pizzeria by the other CVS in town, and it just wasn't the same. This spot is by far our favorite. Try the Margherita pizza. It won't disappoint!

We just moved to the area and decided to give this place a try. We ordered the tomato basil pizza, and it was delicious. They asked if we wanted the regular circular pie or the deep dish. We opted for the regular pie. The slices were packed with flavor and enough for our family of 4. The price was reasonable at around $22. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes but I think it was ready in half that time. Definitely try this place out. Can't wait to try their...
