China House — Restaurant in New Orleans

I was there visiting family and I would have to say, this stop was a matter of convenience only. Most hole-in-the-wall locations may look bad on the outside but the quality of service and food are great...not this one. I should have just turned around when the person who takes the orders nearly knocked me down coming into the establishment door. I placed a fairly large order for our family which was well over $130. The food was horrible. The fried rice was blan, the general tso tasted like it was cooked in a rusty wok, honey chicken was so so and the rest of the dishes were dry and lacked flavor. I hate I wasted my money and when I return to the city again for a visit, this will not be a location I stop in. It was like a storage room on the dining room floor. Not...

Still technically on the way home but we made a detour to finally see New Orleans and what a city it is, lol … Loved New Orleans … Can’t wait to visit again honestly

We stopped here two years ago … We worked a few gig jobs and decided it’s time to eat some real food man so we stopped here

The food here was really good … The employees here was super awesome sauce as well … They have a 100 health rating … Clean inside and outside … We would most definitely stop here again if we are ever close to Nee Orleans...

Usually, I don’t leave reviews, but I feel compelled to. First, I ordered general tso plate and sweet and sour plate. Price was on the high side $13 each. Secondly, rice was bland af. Only rice and onions and a few pink shrimp. Tasted terrible. Sweet and sour was dried fried chicken pieces with sauce on side. Who does that? Don’t get me started on the restaurant depo egg rolls..Don’t order chinese food here. Restaurant looks terrible. These are Vietnamese not chinese people. Really sad. Must...
