Waffle House — Restaurant in New Orleans

Moe was our first server and after several minutes of us sitting there we were finally acknowledged by her. She asked us if we were ready to order, we weren’t ready but we were ready to tell her our drink order. Her response, “uh no I’m taking everything at once” and just walked off. We were in the middle of a shift change. It took awhile for the second server to come in, so Moe eventually had to ask us what we wanted to eat. It took me a good few minutes of me telling her me and my family orders because she would just walk off to either talk to the cook, pick up food and deliver it to the table and at one moment the audacity to ask another server “so you are not going you going to take their order (referring to us)?”. She should have at LEAST said, “excuse me, let me...(whatever she needed to do)”. Treated me and my family as if she didn’t want us there! Absolutely unprofessional and rude. This was the worst customer experience I've ever had. My husband, mother, and I had stopped there for a quick bite to eat before going about our day. We were in New Orleans for vacation and for a family wedding. As we walked in the restaurant, no one and I mean NO one acknowledged us. I thought, okay maybe they where a bit busy, so I let that pass. Since this was self seating we waited for available seating. We would have taken the empty counter seats but they had yet to be cleared from the last customer who dined there. After 15 minutes or so a table opened up. We sat and waited for our order to be taken but no one arrived or even acknowledged that we were seated. After about 15 minutes, we had enough aND took our business to Ihop. If I'm ever in that area of New Orleans again, that will not ever be a place I will go again. Now East Baton Rouge, they have it together. I'll be giving them praises on...

UNPROFESSIONAL everyone but the young man who seems to have customer service skills needs to be fired I literally was calling their phone for 30 minutes straight so I can make a phone order so I can possibly make it to work on time so i’m assuming that their having a busy morning because it is saturday but to my surprise when I pulled in the parking lot was empty so I called twice from my car to see if they would answer never did not once I still proceeded to walk into the restaurant and to my surprise their all sitting down eating and scrolling on their personal phone so I question them about the phones and their all were taking orders yet they didn’t have a bag with food in sight baby i’m very educated and you have to wake up early in the morning to pull a face LIE over my eyes I was way to hungry for them to be playing...
