Jockey's Pub and Sports Bar — Restaurant in New Orleans

Been coming to Jockey’s for several months to watch sports and hang with my friends! I know people at the bar and the security guard that works the door on Saturdays. They never checked my ID but always been serving me drinks. Of course their passion fruit margaritas are my absolute fav but when I went there this past Monday, I received the most rude service ever at a bar across New Orleans! Me and my sister walked and this bartender named Victor immediately asked for our ID so my sister gave her ID to him (she’s 27) and I had lost my Id and I didn’t have La Wallet but I did let him know that I was a regular and he just refused my service and told me to leave. But he served my sister even though you have a sign outside that says “30 + and older” but he served her. She wanted to buy two margaritas for herself because we was celebrating her last night in New Orleans on her new job and I had recommended “jockeys” because of the good drinks and good vibes. He even told her that she wasn’t allowed to buy two-three margaritas and told her to leave. We left and we walked to car and was like we need to speak to manager. We walked back inside asked for the manager and he said he was and he wanted us to leave. We wasnt causing no commotion it was the rude service that he was giving us. I asked to speak to the owner and he refused that also. I will never come here again. Use to be my favorite spot....

Okay, My wife and I took a trip to New Orleans for our honeymoon. We went to all the bars and such that magazines suggest and yadda yadda.,but we haven't found a place that took care of us and made us feel welcome like the jockey tabern. From our bartender to the owner himself they took care of us. If you get the chance go in and visit as they will be honest on what beer/whiskey you need at the time and have wonderful deals. I have been to this place twice, once to see LSU beat Bama and last Sunday for the Saints/Carolina game. Both times I had a great experience. The volume for the games was very good so all could hear. The service was great and the folks there were amazing. I struck up some great conversation. I though by myself, had an awesome time on both occasions....
