Park Island Brew and Coffee House has easily become one of my favorite local spots in New Orleans. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing, cute, quaint, and cozy, with a relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for studying, getting work done, or just unwinding with good coffee and good energy. You can sit inside and enjoy the calm ambiance or take in the breeze outside, either way, it’s a vibe.
The staff here Is phenomenal. Every visit, I’ve been greeted with genuine smiles and great service. You can tell they care about what they do, and it really adds to the experience. Shout out to the owner, she is absolutely amazing and has such great customer service! You can feel her passion and warmth in the way the place runs.
So far, I’ve tried the Croissant with egg, cheese & hot sausage, the Salmon N’ Grits, the Four-Way Latte, and my absolute favorite, The Blossom (Lavender & Rose Oat Milk Latte). Every single thing I’ve had has been delicious and made with care. The Blossom especially stands out, smooth, fragrant, and just the right balance of flavor.
Another thing I love is that they have board games available! It’s such a fun, thoughtful touch that makes you want to slow down, laugh, and really enjoy your time there. Everything about Park Island Brew feels intentional, from the menu to the layout to the warm energy of the staff.
It’s just such a cool, well-thought-out vibe, and I’m absolutely blown away every time I go. As a local, I love having a peaceful place like this to relax, sip something good, and...

Back w| another love note to one of my forever faves in Gentilly!!
I still order “The Blossom” for my daughter’s namesake and that rose and lavender is the perfect combo in a latte— floral but so balanced, I hope they never take it off their menu.
They’ve also got a food truck that I’ve been eyeing for a long time now. It wasn’t open when I stopped by cue my dramatic sigh but the menu looks divine. I’ll be back soon to finally try.
Never once been disappointed here, from the service to the drinks. If I’m in the neighborhood, it’s a non-negotiable stop.

Stumbled upon this coffee shop in Gentilly a few months ago. Ever since then, I’ve been stopping in to get “The Blossom” iced coffee. It’s so amazingly yummy w| notes of rose and lavender. I’m typically not the type to like such flavors in my coffee but The Blossom made me love it! Every time I walk in the door, she knows exactly what I would like to order!
I can say the appearance and esthetics of this place aren’t the best, but it’s a nice spot nonetheless. Locally owned in Gentilly right across from the track. Stop by and you won’t regret...
Read moreHand's down, the worst dining experience I've ever had in New Orleans. I went there 2 days in a row this week. Having stopped going there a couple of years ago because of a drop in quality, I thought I'd see if anything's changed. On the first day, I asked for a toasted bagel with cream cheese & a hot drip coffee with half & half. The coffee was sour and bitter, and I asked the worker if there was espresso shots in my coffee, he said "yea, I ran out of coffee so I used espresso"... As someone who has a heart condition & high blood pressure, this is extremely concerning.
This morning, coffee was again, sour, bitter, and the "everything" toast was anything but. Brown oxidized avocado spread, unseasoned tomatoes and cheap oil drizzle. It's almost a shame those poor micro greens had to go out like that.
Also, the "chef" on the truck shouldn't be wearing crumb-covered socks & slides. It's unsanitary,...
