McDonald's — Restaurant in New Orleans

This place is ran by folks that just show up for paycheck. I knew immediately the type of resistance I would be met with the moment I walked in with my disgust/ complaint. However, given the circumstances I figured I give them the opportunity to make things right.

We placed an order on 3/2/25 at 7:36p, we made it home and the family started digging in. It wasn't until 10 minutes into our meal that my daughter was met with a weird foreign object. As she spit her fries out here come a finger nail flying across the table. A nasty tacky press on finger nail, a busted up finger nail you pick up at the dollar general.

Out of disgust, I spit my food up and immediately started gagging as we all had been digging into those fries. God knows what other weird foreign objects were mixed into the patties, the cheese, the bread. Of course, my immediate reaction was to return to the store and ask for a full refund.

I ask you all, would you be ok with this? Answer this truthfully. The majority would say no and demand the same.

As expected, I'm met with denial and ridicule, I'm gaslighted, I'm told no one lost a nail. Can't possibly be us. Every nail is accounted for. I don't care who lost it. The fact is someone lost it, first, second, or last - someone is missing a nail and knows it.

They wanted all the food back. Half the food, if not the better part of all the food, was eaten before my daughter hit the nail. I can't give you back what was already ate, but asking for a full refund is justified as not one of you would be ok with the thought of you ingesting foreign objects.

My request was denied, and I'm given a fake corporate number, no help.

This establishment is a joke. Management is young. They don't take their jobs seriously. I called corporate after being provided a fake number. I hope some resolution comes my way. A charge back is coming soon if my complaint lands on deaf ears.

I don't recommend this place. It's poorly run, and clearly, health cleanliness is last on the radar.

So it's been a minute since I've eaten at this McDonald's because they usually take forever to prep your order or miss things or forget things but I have to say that tonight was the absolute worst food I have ever had from McDonald's through door dash Now my Dasher was great but however I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese so I got my burger and I opened it just a precaution I always take but they were very heavy on the onions they only had one pickle on it and not to mention the burger that I had tonight was dry fairly warm the fries were cold and hard and they failed to properly seal the drinks so as I walked with my bag and tried to hand it off to my girlfriend the bag ripped resulting in my tea spilling and making a sticky mess everywhere also bought a cookie tote with 13 cookies the cookies on the other hand were great warm soft and delicious no tonight I was expecting to sink my teeth into some beefy deliciousness but instead got a mouthful of cotton balls because that's how dry it was to me it was not enjoyable tonight very disappointed with you McDonald's you can do better just a word of advice next time make sure you have straws in the bag put napkins in the bag and properly seal both the drinks and the bag so needless to say nine times out of 10 I would not be visiting or eating at this particular McDonald's anymore I highly recommend that you visit another enfranchisement elsewhere don't waste your time here! And the price was stupid high for only 7 items it was $52.43 again I do not...

Terrible experience every time I have been there. Tried it three different times, the last one out of necessity (nothing else was open), and I witnessed an employee kicking out a couple who just wanted to use the bathroom. They were told they had to make a purchase as the bathrooms are for customers only. I bought them a meal and the employee still did not let them use the bathroom. They were also nasty to me because I tried to help someone who was obviously in need. About the food; bread is always dry and it looks like a child made the sandwich. The simple value chicken sandwich had nasty lettuce and mayo in one clump off to the side, and the patty was stale, like it had been sitting in the heater for an hour. Fries are always cold. I asked for fresh fries, even offered to wait. The employee just took my fries and dunked them back in the oil for a couple seconds. I used to WORK for McD's and I know all the ins-n-outs. These people do the bare minimum and cut as many corners as possible. As for the restaurant itself; dirty, trash on the floor, busy or not. Tables are always sticky. First time I had to clean my own table even though there were 2 employees at the registers just blabbing at each other. No orders up. The employees; I understand this is literally the poster job for entry level employment (go flip a burger), but there were grown adults in their late twenties/early thirties that acted like that was their first job ever.
