I have the opportunity to work from home which is nice, but can get very stagnant and unproductive for me at times which is not good to stay on top of my work so I frequent quiet chill cafes with lush breezy outdoor seating. For some reason I feel super productive when I can be outside and work...and they have the most comfortable airy covered porch with tables and surrounding garden for just that! And the most comfortable spacious booths inside..which I also love to spread out and work in sometimes. Read moreI used to come here daily, I normally spent close to 7-8 dollars here, over the last couple months, they've remodeled, removed almost all of the home style stuff from the menu. my normal coffee and croissant now cost me 15$ DOUBLE what it used to. I used to see the same people every shift too, knew me by name and drink. I am no longer a regular here and don't plan to be amongst others. I'm assuming new management took over and ruined this relic that me and my grandmother use to enjoy, the experience is now a more expensive Starbucks with bland prefrozen food, bland decor and a tasteful touch on your wallet....

The baristas informed me that all of their pastries are prepared fresh daily. The next thing I noticed was how bright, airy, and clean it is. This location is located in a beautiful historic building and features numerous small paned windows and even a large covered patio.
