This has been 1 of my favorite places to dine since I was a child growing up on Prytania. Going in with my parent. Now cleanliness and dine-inside or dine-outside to the visual standards was , absolutely wonderful. The person to person verbal exchanges were excellent (The waitress started kind & with a smile.) However, when the food that bc she'd explained that she's only been employed 2 months so she's still learning thing. We understood and explained, slowly, clearly, and, thoroughly. As well as, our orders were particular, but VERY SIMPLE. Once the order was incorrect the 1 time, she, appropriately, apologized, and went to have the order corrected. We'd, also, explained the history of I, as a young child, grew up on Prytania & attended private school, on St Charles. From age 5pm & I'm now,43. And, I've always, when I came back to visit & moved back into the City, ( Metairie) I come to eat there all of the time for the memories and it's ALWAYS been great. Then I have a loved one that drives from Mississippi, often, just to have verbatim "The best Mexican food, I've ever had!" Today, that result was, definitely, NOT the case. We arrived @5:45pm, to have her food be re-prepared 5xs. The 6th time was needed but at this point, it was 6:27pm. At the same time as, she, mine was re-prepared 3 times. The original just steak and chicken eventually became dry and hard. It was never re-prepared the same food was returned to me each time, for at minimum 35 mins and was never extra as requested. Nor, any longer hot, fresh, and juicy. Much less corrected. When asked for the 4th correction. We,calmly, and politely, asked if in recent months Superior Grill was under new ownership &/or management. Bc we had NEVER had or appetite spoiled, not an order botched. In run of, at least, 15 yrs. We requested a to-go box for her, and I explained after forcing 3 bites that my experience had been ruined, as had my appt. I was now, slightly, past 2 hrs of mess ups and no meal. So, I don't think I'll be recommending ppl as I'd done, for years. Nor Be a joining party @ the restaurant. Unless A LOT is corrected. Even though, Hannah had come many times, through the yrs w/o. And, I w/o her. By us making plans at 5am that morning. Having no breakfast or lunch, to have dinner, technically, never happened. I was embarrassed. I would, definitely, be embarrassed to , highly recommend, and whoever end up just as disappointed, as I. I never re-complain, so vocally loud. This time, I had to share our ruined experienced. Disappointedly written, LaKeisha...
Read moreGREAT FOOD BUT....... I'm going to be completely honest in this Superior Grill review. The reason I'm giving this restaurant 2 Stars is not because of the food it is not because of the drinks it is because of the service that we received when we visited there may 2016. The food itself is PRETTY GOOD I cannot deny that. The drinks are tasty. And the menu is large. During Saturdays and Sundays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. they have a brunch special menu as well as bottomless drinks to include alcoholic beverages. Now with that out of the WAY...... the reason I'm giving this 2 STARS is because my girlfriend and myself arrived at this establishment exactly 1:15 p.m. we were seated at 1:17 p.m. our waiter whom was supposed to be waiting on us was walking around and working with every other table in his area and did not approach us until 1:47 p.m. I myself am a forgiving person I figured he was very busy but their really weren't too many people there. At exactly 1:47 when he approached us and asked us what we wanted to drink I mentioned the fact that I would like to have a bottomless Bloody Mary. He then informed us that the bars stop serving the bottomless brunch drinks at 1:50 p.m. . This upset my girlfriend but I told her to calm down... he took our orders and we did not receive any food for about 35 minutes at that time I began to get a little angry myself.. the one Bloody Mary I had and I had finished the water that was given to me... He then past our table 3 times and never bothered to fill or cups or try to help us or to ask us if we needed anything needless to say we just left him a $2 tip he was very disrespectful and in my opinion this gentleman should no longer work in the hospitality business I give this place 2 Stars based off of his treatment of customers. Myself and my girlfriend will not be coming to this establishment again if we ever do if he is working there we will refuse to eat at this establishment. everything else about this establishment from the outdoor seating to the ambience to the well-placed televisions on outside pretty good but there's a level of racism that will not be allowed in my life and this is it. When three large crowds of 5 or more come in behind you and leave before you because they have received their food drinks and service it raises a few red flags. I do not recommend coming here.... his name I will not divulge because that's just in poor taste but believe me if you see a man with glasses and a sharp goatee black hair and a potbelly leave...

Review: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Superior Seafood in New Orleans, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The restaurant's ambiance, attentive service, and, of course, the exquisite flavors of their dishes left a lasting impression on me.
To begin, I had the Crawfish Beignets as an appetizer, and they were simply outstanding. The beignets were perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, while the inside revealed a succulent filling bursting with the flavors of tender crawfish. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, and the accompanying dipping sauce added a delightful tang that complemented the dish splendidly.
For my entree, I opted for the Blackened Redfish topped with crawfish etouffee, served over a bed of whipped potatoes and corn maque choux. The presentation alone was a feast for the eyes, and the flavors exceeded my highest expectations. The blackened redfish was flawlessly seasoned, with a delightful char that added depth to its succulent flesh. The crawfish etouffee, generously ladled over the fish, was a symphony of rich flavors, showcasing the natural sweetness of the crawfish. The whipped potatoes were velvety smooth, and the corn maque choux provided a delightful sweetness and crunch. Each component of the dish worked in perfect harmony, creating a truly memorable culinary experience.
What truly sets Superior Seafood apart is their commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients, evident in every bite. The attention to detail in flavor combinations and presentation is truly commendable. The knowledgeable and friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was exceptional, providing recommendations and answering any questions I had.
Whether you're a seafood aficionado or simply looking to indulge in a remarkable dining experience in New Orleans, Superior Seafood is an absolute must-visit. Their Crawfish Beignets and Blackened Redfish are culinary masterpieces that will leave you craving more.
