Granato's Pizza — Restaurant in New Philadelphia

Pizza was okay. I’m from out of state and have had several different kinds of pizza. I usually prefer the New York style, but also love a great deep dish Chicago style. This is just a typical hand toss style, crust kinda flat, not bubbly. The dough taste good! The thing that threw me off was how sweet the sauce is. I could barely finish my pizza because of that. It's great, if you like very light sauce. The last time we said hey, we have been getting like missing sauce, just dough. So they asked if we wanted extra sauce. We said no just normal, but more than missing big blank dough spots lol. Well apparently we have to ask for extra sauce. it's weird, don't have this problem anywhere else....their salads are not typical pizza place salad, leaves a little to be desired, very small and priced like a medium salad, few toppings. Subs are great!...

Used to be our favorite spot but since the new ownership the food has progressively gotten worse. This was our third time since the change and since been the worst. The middle of the pizza continues to be wet and soggy. The sauce used to taste sweet but now we don't taste any flavor at all. Half of our pizza didn't even have cheese on it, it was just sauce. We wanted to keep giving it chances after the change but sadly this will be our last time ordering anything...
