Today, February 26, I came to your store in New Smyrna and I have received the most awful experience ever. Starting that your employee Ashlyn after she greeted us, asked how many flavors will be so she could being the scoops. I was amazed that scoops were not close to the gelato, as it supposed to, later I found out that she wrapped up to leave. After she charged me the 3 gelatos (one with 1 scoop, 2nd one with 3 scoops and a 3rd one with 2 scoops) she asked me if I was paying all of them. I replied that I will pay the total which was $14.38. The question was weird for me since sheās the employee and I thought that she knew what she was charging, but apparently was not the case. The thing was that she asked me again if I was paying the 3 gelatos, which I replied that if the $14.38 are the total of the gelatos, yes I will pay it. Then I sat down with my other 2 friends and in less than 15 minutes she told us that we can eat the gelatos outside since she will be closing the store, being mean and rude. Since I saw her continued bad attitude I told her that was okay that she was kicking us out. Once I stepped outside the store, she told my friend that she didnāt wanted to sound mean, and my friend replied ābut you didā. We had never received a poor customer service like that. Was our first time there and for sure the last one. I donāt mind spending money, but I will never spend a single penny on this store after the service that she provided. Definitely zero manners! This kind of service is disrespectful to your brand. I am a coach and my daily basis is ensure that my team is providing an excellent service that will exceed any customer expectation. So sad that your employee Ashlyn doesnāt know what that is. I wish my review was completely different, but Ashlyn definitely demonstrated that a good customer service is not her priority since she kicked us out to close the store. As a professional in this matter, I would recommend a coaching or an employee replacement to avoid your company from losing...

When I arrived at 9:14 AM, the shop wasnāt very busyāonly four or five customers, all of whom had already ordered. However, I stood waiting for about 10 minutes without any acknowledgment. A simple "Hello, I'll be right with you" would have made a difference. Instead, I was noticed but quickly ignored, which felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. I donāt expect constant attention, but basic customer service goes a long way. Iāll consider giving this place another chance and hope for a better...

There is a very nice outdoor courtyard to relax in with some shade and charming pots and plants everywhere. There are a few muffins and bakery choices there. Both times I visited the latte was great. They have some interesting bags of ground coffee for sale and a few other things. Oddly enough, they had dried shiitake mushroom snacks in chip size packages made by a company called Pan.
