Traders Sports Bar — Restaurant in New Smyrna Beach

This IS NOT the place to go. Went here with some friends who are locals to the area. We were told we could put our bicycles on the back patio while we were there. (Our bikes are custom built High End rigs That we were out riding on the first day of sunshine after almost two weeks of rain.)

After we were told by one of the staff that it was fine, we were then agressivly confronted by a shorter, pudgy woman telling us we could not have them there and we needed to leave.

I offered to give them a few bucks, if we could keep them there. (Offered the money cause I figured they were taking up a few seats that could have had paying customers in them)

We were then chased out by some wannabe older bald men, trying to intimidate us. There are tons of other places to go in this area and not be treated like a second class citizen.

There are tons of other reviews here that reflect how poorly people were treated here. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR,...

COMPLETE RIPOFF! BE WARNED!! THEY ADD EXTRA DRINKS ON YOUR TAB!! Went two days in a row, never recieved an itemized receipt the first time though both bills seemed high. Upon the second bill, they added another beverage which made me ponder the first one. It just seems like bad business to overcharge customers. Needless to say, I'll never go back there and if you decide that's a place to go, get your bill before paying. Edit: Against my better judgment, went back again during the pub crawl. Two shots, one draft beer and a well drink came up to $35. Reviewed the itemized bill and they added a few extra bottles I'd beer and drinks. The alleged manager "apologied" and said this never happens...BS! They need to be investigated for corrupt business practices. JUST STAY THE FUGG AWAY...

Small-town disappointment. 25 & under dive bar. All times I or friends have stopped by No covid precautions taken from customer care cleaning to mask wearing. Would not recommend to anyone that cares about respecting pandemic protocal. Sleazy meat market for sure. Every now & then a good band but mangt doesn't care about profesionalism or respect talent so.... So same old same old monthly rotations. Poorly run from bouncer to boss. To bad...nice location. On the flip side....because of all the above other clubs are free of mostly drunken disrespect. . So good times up & down the avenue. I do not recommend this bar. FYI it is only a bar. No food...nothing... So you would think with such a limited venue they could get...
