Treats on the Beach — Restaurant in New Smyrna Beach

I’ll start off by saying my family and I come here often and we really enjoy it. Service is usually good as well as the food but today our experience was disappointing. We ordered food, sat down and waited for it and when the female employee brought it out she just dropped it down on the table, kind of angrily and started to walk away. We kindly asked if we could have dip to go with our food, she rolled her eyes and came back and basically threw it at us across the table for no reason at all. Then my son went to bite into his corn dog that he ordered and the hot dog meat was hard as a rock. It was not even edible at all and couldn’t eat it. So we lost out on money and my son was hungry so we had to leave and go elsewhere to get him food. We didn’t bother to complain to the employee after the attitude she had because we didn’t feel like being treated badly again. Maybe she was having a bad day, like we all sometimes do, that can be understandable and I don’t know what the situation was, however that is no way to treat your customers for no reason, regardless. The girl at the window that took our order was nice though. I really hate to have to leave a negative review because I don’t like to complain and like I said we normally enjoy the food and service, but I hope if we ever decide to come back in the future, that service...

Worst establishment!! Here on vacation and parked. 3 young teenage workers watched us exit our vehicle and say let’s go to the shop first because we can’t take ice cream in there and then we’ll get our ice cream. They watched us and heard us! In the shop for 15-20 minutes and when we came out our car was towed! Called tow service who claimed the ice cream shop called them and to bring $160 cash. When asked how we get there, “ ugh idk walk call a service.” I approached the ice cream shop and asked to talk to a manager. I was told she wasn’t available by young girl with attitude, asked for managers number and told no you shouldn’t have parked there this is your problem and we don’t give out numbers. Instead of being kind to tourists or stopping us when we got out of our vehicle they watched and did this on purpose. Now we know how businesses make their money here... taking advantage of a group of women traveling from out of state. Well now you’ve lost our business and we will spread the word as...

Won't revisit this ice cream shop. First off I do want to say the ice cream was good, but its very similar to other local ice cream shops in the area with impeccable service. This place however, has lost me for life. You can't treat your customers like they are an inconvenience, rule number one when running a business don't bite the hand that feeds you. The hours that are posted are wrong on Google, if the closing time is based on business volume then don't say your open until 10pm and then get annoyed when customers show up. They shut down most of their machines early which I would have understood if the girl had any people skills whatsoever.
