Becky Bakes — Restaurant in New Ulm

In the wonderful world of COVID-19, the MLC Girls Basketball team still had a season. This is my daughters final year and traditionally there is a Senior's Night for the final home game where the Senior's are recognized and the parents attend the game. Unfortunately nobody is allowed into the games who is not a student or faculty member on campus. In order to celebrate the final home game we decided to order some cupcakes and cookies for the team's final home game. Becky Bakes came through in a huge way. I ordered them through the website. Becky texted me and we were able to work out the order together. We ordered a dozen each of the White Chocolate and Raspberry filled, the Triple Chocolate Filled, and the S'mores filled cupcakes. I had the joy of partaking in one of Becky’s cupcakes today. I’m from the cities where the competition for such baked goods is fierce. My usual favorites include Sweet Retreat (Edina), Nadia’s Cupcakes (Maple Grove) and any Woullet location. New Ulm has just done it again by proving to the world they can do just one more thing better then anyone else… cupcakes! First of all, the presentation for these cupcakes is exceptional, flavor to die for (not too sweet), the sponge on the cake is immaculate and the frosting is simply dreamy. Becky Bakes catered treats for my wedding. We ordered a cut cake, 3 kind of cupcakes and 3 kinds of cookies and they were all AMAZING! The kind of amazing that makes me want to drive 3 hours round trip to go get some more. Emily was absolutely wonderful to work with- so sweet, helpful and responsive!
