Just tried this new restaurant that my friend recommended. I’ve never had congee based hotpot but it was really good. The service was phenomenal, the staff checked in on us numerous times and were quick to accommodate any requests. They willingly changed plates, made suggestions and were super helpful. The decor was very modern and the seating was comfortable unlike some other hotpot tables. The food was yummy and portions were good. The free dessert and appetizer dishes were a huge plus! I think this is the sister restaurant to the Golden Wonton King on the same block, this restaurant offers hot pot and seafood dishes. The hot pot ingredients are a la carte and very diverse. The bar with the sauces has a nice layout, with recommended formulas, great for people new to hot pot. We got the twin flavor hot pot with various ingredients to cook with.
