This is really a hidden gem! Very nice lady and her son (I think) who took the time to explain their menu and specials and made the food/sandwiches during my first visit. The heroes are huge and stacked. Very reasonable prices and tastes amazing! My favorite was the eggplant Parm...so good if you like eggplant Parm and was surprisingly not as salty as most of the ones I've tasted elsewhere (trying to cut down on my salt). But omg, it tasted even better the next day after toasting in the toaster oven! Bread was nice and crispy on outside but soft and buttery inside. My kids had the meatball Parm first and liked that alot but second time they went to get it, it wasn't ready yet so got the chicken parm w/ vodka sauce instead. Now that's their no. 1 favorite. They won't order anything else bc it was that good. They're getting it today actually =D. Will have to try the lasagna next time as I heard a customer talking about how good that was when I went there...

I also really enjoy their homemade cookie and whoopie pie desserts as well. Of course, they have the imported prosciutto and all of the good Italian cold cuts you would expect. I was impressed with they way the prosciutto was laid out since it is cut paper thin.
For me, their ravioli definitely keep me coming back. I also like the charm of the place and the great smell as soon as you walk in. A must go to in the neighborhood or even if you don't have an old fashioned Italian...
Read moreGuy who served me is a complete idiot. I voiced my concern about how liquid from the refrigerator was dripping into the salads. He responded with "NO" when I looked at the potatoe salad in there it was covered in this liquid that was dripping and the potatoes were blue. I've run delis before and that was a serious concern if liquid from anywhere was dripping into the uncovered salads. He also said to me " have a nice day". So I did. My cousin works for the health department and he will be showing up there unannounced. Too bad he lied and had no concern for his clients and my neighbors health and welfare. I still purchased sausage from a different case, and...
