I’ve now had 3 bad experiences let’s take a walk down memory lane shall we? The first was when I ordered online. And forgot someone and called the store to tell them to include with my order. Even though they said they would they completely forgot. The second time I placed an over over the phone I get the same thing always I asked for Sprite as my soda with my meal and when it came they gave me 7up which tastes absolutely nothing like sprite I was posed but that’s not compared to my final time ordering from this place. I asked for a small cheese pizza, 2 sides of ranch and a sprite they claimed my first card got declined but I know they weren’t really even listening when I was giving my card number they have some new guy there who takes orders and delivers them and he is absolutely awful everything I was saying he kept messing up. I had to call back with another card because I thought it was me once I heard him read the card back to me wrong I knew it was him all along and he messed up the first card. Now let’s get to my favorite part the delivery. he went to the wrong address even tho I said it several times and he repeated it to me over the phone. When he finally arrived at the correct address he had no pen laughed and apologized I was annoyed but polite and thought to myself dude come prepared clearly this job is just a pay check to him not taking seriously at all I got my pizza and ranch and again instead of sprite they gave me ginger ale I explained to him that’s not what I asked for and he laughed it off and apologized and said there was nothing he could do cuz there closing soon it was 10:12 Completely outrageous so I let this fool get on his back and leave when upstairs and called the place and told them they had screwed up my Order again and explained if you don’t have the soda I want don’t just throw any random soda in the bag how about you communicate with the customer and see if they’d like a different one which I did I said I would take coke instead and he was like I’ll send one over for you right now. At this time it was 10:12 they close in 30 minutes I live right down the street so I figured it would be simple. Turns out I was wrong 10:30 rolls around and I don’t have my coke the gentlemen on the phone lied to me how disgusting and unprofessional he didn’t even apologize all he said was they must have grabbed the wrong bottle cuz of the color which is no exscuse that means you and your employees are not verifying if the order is correct or not how distasteful and at this point in time all I want is A full refund cuz when I finally sat down to have my pizza it was burnt and poorly made for 16$? This pizza is not worth it and it never does now anyone reading this I urge you to stay away from this pizza establishment don’t waste your money on cold, burnt pizza as well as poor customer service I will never waste my money and be treated as poorly as I have been from...
Read moreI used to eat at this pizzeria pretty often as a kid. I've been coming here for 20 years now!!! I got to know Joe and the entire staff. They are a bunch of great people! Their pizza is always fresh and the crust is yummy! I honestly never tried any toppings as I like cheese slices the best.
Their pasta are pretty damn good as well. Always made fresh! The downside is the wait for it. Stuff shells are my favorite of mine and they do it just right.
I also get beef patties with cheese from them as well.
They're not the best pizzeria around (when you're comparing them to other Brooklyn places, but they are up there in my books). When you compare A&J's to what I get in Jersey, they ARE THE BEST!
With the high cost of cheese and everything else, A&J still manage to keep the prices very reasonable.
Although Joe isn't working as much as he's getting older, his staff seems like they've learned all his tricks. Every time I go in and see Joe, it brings a great smile to my face knowing the man that built this pizzeria is still able to do what he loves best....making great...
Read moreThey do not care about their customers' wellbeing. Will not be coming back and I've been alerting everyone to avoid this place. They settle their pizzas on the counter as they are boxing them so it's left in the open as other customers without masks are being served. You can imagine in such a small space how unsanitary that is. A group of customers talking without masks are just a few inches away. I inquired about the mask wearing requirement notification outside their window and the female clerk's response: "we have to pay bills, we can't turn away customers who don't wear masks because we got bills to pay" which I thought was pretty rude and just went to show how they don't care about customers, they just see you as dollar bills walking...
