This will be mainly covering the arcade portion of the place, not any of the other parts.
Be aware that cards are normally one time use only and costs 2$ to activate, A reloadable card is 5$ and is practically required if you intend on visiting more then once. You can Merge game cards, but if you plan on coming repeatedly, it is recommended that you buy a VIP card, as they will last a year.
Prices are actually fair for what they are. I'd say similar to the other two non-DNB arcades I've been to, with a reloading system similar to Gatcha in Queens, but with no machines to fast track reloading.
Games wise, there is a variety of them, claw machines at the front, hiding the good stuff, a bunch of Racing Games, but they have Initial D, and While the Rhythm Game Selection is very sparce, they make up for it in pure exotics. No where else do I know of can you find Music3 or Geki, and Wacca, Chunithm are there too.
The VR Section had a variety of games and experiences, though is very pricey for what it is, if you want to have a taste of VR before jumping in fully with your own kit, be aware that it gets much better then this, but otherwise it may be a good start, if you don't use the DPVR headsets. otherwise you got a few Rollercoasters, one Racing Rig (though might be a bit too small for anyone that is not a low teen), and a 4 player team game.
other then that I can't say much about the crane games, as I didn't look into them as much.
The staff was Extremely friendly, and understanding of the feedback I've given them when I had complaints regarding the DPVR setups they had, as they were tugging a bit to the right on the headset and the controller locks were not in the best place, and was promptly told those would be rectified when they get the chance to do so.
The (while sparce) Exotic Rhythm Game selection and Extremely Nice staff make me push past the Credit system just enough to let me go all in on 5 stars. Attached are some scores of Dance3, as I had been playing that the most.
Edit Disclosure: Edits were made to provide new information regarding the card system, and removes the portion where it mentions that Chunithm and Music3 were the only games playable, as Wacca and ONGEKI are also...
Read moreSo I've been here before for party and it seemed cool and my child loved it. Now when I decided to throw a party it wasn't so smooth. First issue is I could pay the deposit online I had to zelle it. When trying to zelle it the bank kept flagging it for fraud. The one good thing is because I was late they still gave me the same amount of time in the room. Now the host for the room didnt even have the room set up and I had to chase him down for socks for the kids. I cleaned the room myself which went 15 minutes over my time. When I say clean I even folded all the folding chairs. I paid for 15 kids and only 11 came and they tried to over charge me. When I ran everything down they tried price wise he (manager who was a teenager) tried to make up excuses that wasn't adding up. Now my final price was $239 first he tried to say $286 when I asked why he said 2 people in my party got adult socks (keep in mind I have 2 kids that wear size 10.5) but how does that add up to almost $50 extra dollars. Then we started arguing. Then once he realized he was wrong and I told them im using my card the price was now $266 but would show me the breakdown of why its almost $30 extra. Now I understand service fee for using a card and taxes but the fact the could show me and decided not to had me boiling. What is worst is when my Indian Aunt went to ask what is going on and the price they kindly told her I only owed $239. So I felt like now its a race thing being that im Africa America by appearance and it is an Asian owned establishment. I went to the ATM and gave Exactly $239 and not a penny over. This place is ran by children because I didn't see not one adult in sight. Forgot to mention when I was looking for the host he was outside smoking. With all that being said the kids did enjoy themselves but I would recommend this place to others. Also there is no seating for parents who bring kids to play or...
Read moreAfter reading a few bad reviews, I almost missed out on this opportunity to have my baby girls 5th birthday here. People are here complaining about prices, meanwhile they’ll spend over 1000$ at places like urban air and the trampoline parks… I think it’s ridiculous. Common sense sometimes is not common these days. If you decide to book a spot like this on a weekend and expect not see a bunch of kids I think it’s foolish.
Another thing, IT WAS FOR SURE VERY CLEAN. Everyone had their socks on. And the staff is super nice.
It’s really not called MAX FUNLAND for no reason. It was definitely FUNLAND. The space is super clean. I love that they clean up after and that they even supply tablecloths, cups, and plates. The staff was so courteous and professional. They were very attentive to our needs. I think I’m ready to plan every birthday year for my baby Girl here, because she’s just a type of child that doesn’t get tired. Urban air, and all these other trampoline parks do not compare to this place. If you want to spend any money and get your moneys worth, I highly recommend this place. Thank you guys so much for making my babies birthday special. I will never forget...
