Ambato — Restaurant in New York

The food used to taste great at a reasonable price. For example, in my experience, the shrimp and noodle soup used to be one of the best tasting dishes they had, but in the past two months (June 2022-July 2022) it has been far below subpar. I have gotten lunch twice from here in the above time period and both times the food was a struggle to eat. The second time I did not even bother finishing the food. The rest of the lunch dishes have also suffered in quality, in addition to the shrimp soup. To the owners: whatever change happened in the past few months regarding where the ingredients for the food is purchased or maybe the staff, or management has caused the food to taste terrible in recent times. This is a place located in Ridgewood that has delicious authentic Ecuadorian food. The staff is so attentive and nice. They are like family serving your food. They make you feel at home, with the way they prepare your food. I always go to them when I am in the area, and I would recommend to anyone who appreciates a nice well prepared...

Estuvimos ayi para cenar solo 3 personas y el servicio se demoró 1 hora lo cual nos molesto muchísimo 😡 pero lo peor fue que cuando nos cobraron la cuenta nos obligaron a cancelar un cargo por servicio el cual en la factura aparecece textualmente:

"Para grupos de 6 o más personas, se aplica automáticamente una propina del 15,00 %. Si tiene preguntas, por favor, póngase en contacto con un gerente"

Al observar esto se le indicó a la persona que estaba en servicio que no se pagaría ya que consideramos que el servicio no fue el mejor pero ella dijo que era algo automático que aparecía en el programa y que el dueño no les dejaba la opción para cambiarlo .

Honestamente no recomiendo un lugar donde no les interesa para nada el servicio al cliente apesar de es el cliente quien les lleva el dinero para tener un negocio ; el tiempo que estuve en el lugar un grupo de 4 personas también se fue porqué duraron también 1 hora...
