Very sad I have to write this review, I went in on Monday and dealt with the lady who ran the store who was so sweet and helped me with everything with patience and I ended up making a decent sized purchase… I go back 2 days later and I dealt with her husband. I was looking at some cards in the case that I was thinking of buying, he stood over me like a hawk. After less than 10 minutes of looking and as I was finalizing my decision he began to get nasty with me saying I was touching everything. Read moreThis place is an absolute gem. Mom and pop owned and run for decades. Great mix of back issues and weekly titles. As soon as you walk in it's like you are entering into a magical time and place when you went to your local comic shop as a kid discovering new favorites in old long boxes.
Even if you don't live in the area please make the trip to support this place for the love of all things comic culture. It's right at the base of the stairs on the Ave P stop on the F train. And if you're not from NYC, skip the other stores and come here, you can even visit Coney Island afterwards !

They also have a massive collection of Marvel, DC and third party publisher books, dating from the 70's (at least), basketball, baseball and other sports cards dating from the 70's to early 2k, sports memorabilia, and a ton of other collectible stuff.
