Avocado Mexican Restaurant & Coffee Shop — Restaurant in New York

My husband and I went here for breakfast on a holiday Monday. We had the nuevos rancheros plate. It was very good. Portion are average and adequate so you fo not over eat. Tasty beans. Eggs were just scrambled and the chorizo was not what I expected but I liked it. I prefer Authentic Mexican chorizo with a bit if spice in it. I think this place needs to include typical Mexican dishes without fear. Lots if people from the neighborhood should support this establishment as it opened after the lockdown and that is tough. The owner came to greet us and he was friendly and attentive. The decor is nice, would be nice for a small party. We will be there soon to try...

Food that we ordered was disgusting. Quality is poor. Even French fries taste weird. Chorizo Quesadilla was terrible. Disgusting greasy, grounded meat just in the center. No cheese, no onion, no bell paper. Just grounded meat in the center. The rest is just dough and no meat. My family and I went last week to the restaurant and the food was excellent! Everyone at the restaurant was so friendly and made us feel comfortable right away.
