My husband and I had lunch here today. The food was decent, but the server was very RUDE. It has been mentioned in other reviews as well, but the servers at this restaurant relentlessly insist on a tip. Even though tipping is not mandatory, they treat it as if we are obligated to leave money, demanding it from us. When we tried to pay the bill, she insisted we tip at least 18% when we left 10%. Since I believe tipping is something I do when I'm pleased with the service, I asked her if 18% was mandatory at this restaurant. She made a face in front of me while saying no, but still insisted that we tip more than 18%. Her behavior was unacceptable—asking for a tip while showing such a poor attitude is absurd! It's a shame because the food tasted good (although the plating was kind of sloppy), and I was considering returning to the restaurant, but the server's behavior has made me reconsider.

First time trying Thai cuisine and loved it. I can’t believed I didn’t try this place before since I love trying the diverse cuisine forest hills has to offer. The staff are very friendly, helpful, attentive, courteous and over all just great! I order the pineapple fried rice, spring rolls and a mango mojito and loved everything I ordered. I’m a very picky eater and told our waitress if I could have certain things removed from my order and I was so happy and pleased to see that when my order came out it was right and delicious. They also made sure we were comfortable where we were seated and that we knew and understood what we wanted. Very helpful when it comes to picky eaters like myself and a kid who is very specific with what she eats. Thank you for your kindness and your service. I would definitely recommend this spot. I’m already planning going back again!

I’ve been to Bangkok Cuisine several times and ordered takeout as well since it’s in the area and can’t say I’ve ever had a negative experience. Their pad-Thai is always tasty as are the curry puffs and pad-see-ew. In the past we’ve also had their various curries and rice options which have also been very good. This outing my wife and I tried the calamari as a starter with shrimp the pad-Thai with and massaman curry with chicken as entrees. Both were tasty and worth coming back to. Service was good as it always is and ambience as well. They’re very consistent with service and food. Bangkok cuisine is a solid option for Thai food.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE HARASSED! While the food was okay, the service was absolutely horrid. The waitress pestered us for a tip, when the receipt clearly said gratuity SUGGESTED. Despite that, we still tipped and she had the audacity to tell us to tip more because of her service and that she only relies on tips. I was going to give her extra tip but she proceeded to show attitude and shove a pen at my face to change my tip. She said, "Change your tip and then you can leave" Excuse me???? That type of behavior is INTOLERABLE from a waitress. You signed up for this job regardless of tips. So, She's lucky I'm even tipping, considering tipping is merely SUGGESTED. When I told her I wouldn't be tipping more because of her behavior, she told me not to come here next time because I'm not Willing to tip for service. I told her she doesn't have to worry about it. I'm reading these reviews and noticing that many people are saying the same thing and it seems to be the same lady. She either needs to get fired or reprimanded because this behavior is unacceptable. I'm genuinely afraid that she might overcharge me...

A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon a truly special Thai restaurant in Forest Hills, and it has quickly become my new go-to spot. I've had Thai food all over New York, but not many places can compared to the experience I had here. The menu is a treasure trove of authentic Thai dishes, with a huge variety to choose from. It was hard to decide what to get because everything sounded so good, but whatever you order, you can't go wrong. Every single dish I've tried has been absolutely amazing. The flavors are incredibly vibrant and complex, a genuine burst of flavors with every bite. You can tell they use only the freshest ingredients. I was so impressed that I couldn't stop talking about it at work the next day. A few of my coworkers were amazed too and went to try it for themselves, and they were all just as blown away as I was. If you're looking for the best Thai cuisine in Forest Hills, this is it. It's now my favorite spot for Thai food, and I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates truly authentic and...

I was a long time customer of this restaurant. I probably went there twice a week every week for the last 15 years, sticking with them despite menu changes that increased the price and decreasing quality of the food--and even after them serving us raw pork! Most people that I have brought there have complained that the food was too salty, but I stuck with it as the local neighborhood Thai food spot.

I will not go again because of an extremely negative experience with the manager. My wife and I were literally thrown out of this restaurant at lunch time for drinking bubble tea. Yes, we were thrown out of an Asian restaurant for bubble tea.

It was lunch time, and the restaurant was empty--literally, we were the only ones there. But the manager said it didn't look good for us to have bubble tea and demanded we leave, then said some very rude things on our way out. I hope his empty restaurant...
