Please Read: Horrible Customer service,
My wife and I went there today for date night, a late dinner after a long week. We came there and there was no one there and were happy that we got the place all to ourselves. The only people there were the staff and us. When we first came in there was no one to greet us, the waiter was busy counting tips for the day with another person and told us to sit anywhere. A few minutes after he came up and gave us the menus and walked back to count the tips. My wife and I looked at each other as the menus said lunch, as this our first time we thought we should ask, however no response, so we thought that maybe it’s a Saturday price or something. We got the food, then the waiter was nowhere to be found again. The meal was decent, no follow up, the drink I ordered was forgotten, I guess the tips couldn’t wait, so I asked again to another person who brought the food. The waiter we had was not really good to say the least. We ate asked for the check and get a check that was over 20% more than the prices said on the menu. We called the person as our waiter was nowhere to be found and she was confused say that’s the lunch prices, we explained what happened and that we both got the lunch menus, instead of the dinner ones apparently. She called the waiter over who didn’t seem to care or even offer to make the situation right, and kept repeating that it’s the lunch price and he couldn’t do anything about it.
Never coming to this place again!!! Needless to say he didn’t get a tip and I wrote why on the receipt so...
Read moreA few days ago, my friends and I visited this restaurant for dinner. We had been here before and returned for another beef gyro platter. However, this time we experienced horrible service from our waitress, Eli C. At every restaurant I go to, I’m always appreciative and unproblematic. First, we started the night by asking Eli for tzatziki with bread, but she refused, saying it would come with my entrée later. Later, I asked if a cut-up tomato could be added to my dish, and she again questioned and rejected my request. When I asked for the check, she stood over me impatiently while I took out the cash, even though I had just asked her to give us a minute. My friends and I were only there about 30–40 minutes, and during the entire time, she never smiled once. Overall, the service was negative and unsatisfactory, leaving us with an unpleasant experience. Considering the restaurant’s prices and atmosphere, I expected better service—or at least neutral service. At the end of the night, we tipped the busboy, but not Eli. She then had the audacity to complain about not receiving a tip, in the same rude and unwelcoming manner she displayed throughout. There was no history of her serving us before, and there is no reason this type of service should be acceptable. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. Thanks only to the busboy for the water and his...
Read moreI've been to this restaurant many times throughout the years and have always loved their food but have been disappointed with a recent discovery. A few days ago I went to have dinner with a friend. I told the waitress that I'm pregnant and want to make sure the fried calamari is well done. Her response was "It won't be as good that way do you still want it?" I said yes make it well done. She wrote it down and gave instructions to the kitchen staff which at this point I hope they followed. Upon bringing the fried calamari back she told me to try it and let her know if I want it cooked even more. Shouldn't they know how to properly fry calamari until it's well done? Why is the customer being asked? I was shocked to learn that their FRIED calamari is not cooked thoroughly through because they lightly fry it and underneath it is a little undercooked. This is what I was told by one of the staff members AFTER having to tell them to make it well done. I didn't know this. This is so unsafe as you can get parasites or foodborne illness from not thoroughly cooked squid or other fish. In the same way they ask you how you want the salmon or other fish done, they should ask about calamari as well and not deceive customers into assuming that just because it is fried, it is properly cooked and safe to eat for someone who...
