This is a beautiful area to visit and spend a nice afternoon. Beautiful architecture barely see anymore, Austin st has several store, restaurants and even a target. This area is accessible by public transportation and by car. If your coming by car I recommend coming on Sundays due to the meters aren't in effect, most parking regulations. The neighborhood once you enter is a private community so Don't even try to park there, you can only drove through it. This upscale neighborhood makes you forget you're still in NYC.

Classic old world charm, quite & beautifully managed, from here you can approach Forest Hil LIRR station, Forest Hills stadium, Queens Blvd and gated community of 71st continental ave. On the square itself there is a famous Forest Hills Inn, some very old restaurants, offices and business. Place is worth visiting to understand how the Forest Hills of yore might have been.

Their signature tea is a must-try, with so many delicious flavors to choose from!
