My experience here was behond amazing. I was there on Saturday with my two lil girls and was welcome by this positive fantastic person called Ms.Lucy. she gave us all the information about upcoming events. I live in fresh meadows and will comeback to this library instead of the one near me because of the love and care I received that day. Highly recommend. On saturday there was a Dominican music concert photo booth and face painting. Ms.Lucy was also super sweet and handed out stickers for the lil ones.

The staff were very helpful and available. They were pro-active as well as attentive. Great 2nd floor children's section.

I’ve been to many libraries in NY but this library is probably one of the worst functioning libraries in the area. What’s strange is that they have a lot of employees working 24/7 but the library isn’t ever a 100 percent clean. The staff needs training on how to conduct themselves because they shout from aisle to aisle and the culture they’ve been fostering for years makes people act the same way. It doesn’t matter if you’re in the quiet room or outside. There are always kids and parents yelling all the time. Nobody says anything to them and it’s really unfortunate because we don’t have that many libraries in forest hills that I can walk to. I wouldn’t say the staff is rude because they have always been polite to me but they do cheat their schedule. They make announcements way ahead of time and they do not always open on time. Sometimes they open the library a few minutes later. I would like this library to try to solve this problem with people talking on their phones and their employees not...

This library needs to keep the place quiet. Every time I go there the staff talks as if there's nobody there... like staff shouts to someone in another room. One elderly female employee was dropping books on to the metal shelf, there are people around trying to concrete but this woman just don't care. Then another male maintenance staff talks to himself while working and he doesn't care. And then screams when he found his phone he thought he lost!

Another day, the library hosted a group conference for the elderly, dragging tables and chairs and put them together, I would not have minded it if not for the noise that filled the whole room. And I don't understand why they use the library for such an event, for God's sake it's a library!

Lastly, the librarian himself is also noisy and very very rude! Maybe he's the reason the staff are rude and...

I want to start off by saying that I love queens public library as an institution. Thanks to them I was able to be a part of many programs including a English course. However at this library location I personally witnessed the staff not abiding by their new changes of "public" and the new tagline of "we speak your language". I saw one of the front desk workers being very aggressive condescending to someone from the public saying "You don't speak English or what". And it shocked me because I thought they would try to help the lady but instead made her feel uncomfortable. Again as a whole institution I love what the queens public library is doing but these workers need to...
