YELP has done it again!! I drove to Bean & Bean after seeing that they offered avocado toast, I decided to give them a try. The lay out is similar to a Internet coffee house that accommodates a lot of people with much to offer.
I had the Avocado Toast with Salmon. OMGoodness. It was so tasteful. I actually love the combination and it's healthier than having sausage. Just when you find one place that has a good Avocado Toast, there is always another place that does it better. I believe they have about four different avocado toast and a almond butter toast. They offer a combo deal with coffee. It doesn't mesh well with my body so I ordered a hot chai tea and I added liquid cane syrup. The tea was very calming. I also ordered a almond delight smoothie. I didn't start it yet because I was already stuffed from the toast and tea.
The ambiance is that of a upscale cafe and can not be compared to ⭐💵. I dare not mention the two in the same sentence. It's disrespectful toward Bean & Bean.
The staff does exhibit high customer service skills and works coherently on a consistent basis. I loved my interaction with the person that took my order. He supplied enough information so that I would not hesitate when ordering.
I did park on the street because I wasn't familiar with the area but they do have a parking lot for the convenience of their customers, if I had paid attention when I drove up I would have parked in their lot and took my laptop in to use while dining in.
Since Bean & Bean has all that you need for dining and parking, there is no reason to stay away. ...
Read moreBean & Bean Cafe is one of my go-to locations for studying. Every visit to the Little Neck location is a treat because of its remarkable environment, friendly staff, and delicious menu.
The Environment: Bean & Bean's spacious and clean layout provides ample study space with a variety of seating options, from high tables with stools to regular-sized tables. The large windows allow for plenty of natural light, which creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. I also greatly appreciate how the cafe also offers an outdoor seating area.
The Staff: The café is filled with many kind staff members who are attentive and pleasant to chat with. Whenever I'm willing to try a new beverage, meal, or baked goods, the staff is always ready to assist me in making a decision. Also, they are easy to converse with, and I always feel welcome and safe when asking for help.
The Menu: Bean & Bean offers a wide variety of beverages, including coffee, juice, and smoothies, which pairs well with their wide variety of salads, sandwiches, and pastries. My current go to pastries are the almond croissant and the vegan chocolate chip cookie toasted.
I also miss their "Monkey Bread," a sweet pastry with a golden crispy crust and cinnamon filling, as well as their oatmeal, which was previously offered at Bean & Bean. I hope to see it back on the menu one day!
Overall, Bean & Bean Cafe is a fantastic location to visit, study, and relax. The wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious menu make it a great spot for anyone looking to unwind or get...
Read moreBean & Bean is another one of my favorite cafes, although this one is not in Flushing - it's in Little Neck. The location is further to get to from where I live, but I love coming here for the modern feel and the spacious interior, brightly lit with natural sunlight from the huge windows.
I love their matcha frappe ($6) and iced honey latte ($5.50). These two drinks are my go-tos whenever I'm here. They also serve delicious sandwiches, salads, and soups! The lunch combo from 11am-3pm ranges from $8-12. Def recommend the salmon avocado salad. It is A++
There are many tall tables fitting 3-4 people. A con: The stools are small with no back to them, so you'd have to figure out where to put your coat and bags when it's super crowded. It gets hard to find a seat during peak hours, but be patient!
There are plenty of outlets - it's a prime spot for students to study here. I seem to see a lot of med students studying here on weekdays. There are laptop free zones as well - some tables and couches in the middle of the large space.
Bean & Bean has ample residential parking around the neighborhood and a parking lot in the back, which is limited to 2 hours.
While Bean & Bean is one of my favorites, Bean Square is one of the cafes at the bottom of my list (review...
