Luxe Kitchen and Bath — Local services in New York

After comparing a handful of local kitchen remodelers and suppliers, I encouraged my parents to choose Luxe to remodel their kitchen. Luxe's quoted budget was on the higher end compared to competitors that we reviewed, but I knew this would be reflected in Luxe's higher quality (and it was). The outstanding Google reviews played a large role in my decision, so here is my honest review after using the fully renovated kitchen for two weeks.

Given the current situation with Covid-19, I expected challenges, limitations, and discomfort from this process. However, from the beginning, I appreciated the extra measures taken by the Luxe team to look out for the safety and comfort of their clients. Because my parents are in their 70's, it was very important for me to select a team that will seriously adhere to CDC guidelines, and the Luxe team exceeded my expectations here. The team always wore masks and kept a safe distance in the showroom (which is beautiful and expansive with samples galore!) and in our home. I cannot say that I had the same experience with other remodelers while shopping around.

I challenge you to find a remodeling or contractor company with a team as kind, personable, talented, and HONEST as the Luxe team. We were lucky to work with Michael, Eva, Peter, Hector, and Steven. Michael owned the design aspect of our kitchen remodel and all lines of communication. Eva or Hector stopped by nearly everyday to check in on progress due to the close proximity of our home to their office. I understand the challenges of working with family, and I admire Michael, Eva, and Peter's ability to work well together. Hector and Steven have tremendous workmanship, and there is definitely a void in our home in their absence. and an extra thanks to the entire team for their patience with my mom (and myself) who had particular requests :)

With respect to communication, I was pleasantly surprised by Michael's follow up emails throughout the entire process - this was a big plus for me because I never had to worry or wonder about progress. He answered my many, many questions and was always prompt with response times. Michael also did a thorough job with walking us through the job and timeline.

After 17 years of spending most of her time in an old and outdated kitchen, my mom now has her white modern kitchen. She had a specific look in mind (simple and easy to clean), so I did not spend extra time to research options. Instead, I trusted the Luxe team's design recommendations and ran with that. This made the design process VERY easy on our end, especially given that they had multiple samples in the showroom to physically see. In hindsight, I regret not taking more time to research the pros and cons of different design options that were presented to us.

How many horror stories have you heard about contractors extending job timelines? This was one of our biggest fears. That did not happen with the Luxe team. They kept their word on the promised schedule.

The only thing that my mom wasn't entirely happy with were some of the final touches, but the team made it right.

I want to start this review by saying that Michael and his team at Luxe Kitchen and Bath are one of the best teams I have ever worked with. I would love to work with them on any future renovation needs that I have. I HIGHLY recommend them without any reservation. The speed and efficiency and meticulousness of his team are unprecedented. Not only did they meet our aggressive timeline of completing renovating every room of a 3 bedroom condo in 2 months - they also beat it by finishing it earlier than the deadline!!

My elderly parents (in their 80s) downsized and moved into a condo which Luxe renovated every aspect of. So even though the name of the business is Luxe Kitchen and Bath, they can do EVERYTHING. We completely gutted the condo and they took care of every aspect (new flooring, lighting and switches, plumbing, electrical, painting, appliances, finishes, closet interiors and exteriors, door knobs and handles, fixtures, TV installation, etc.) in every room. I do not live in NY but his team was able to coordinate with me remotely in a seamless way.

This is not my first time at the rodeo. I have owned and renovated several home and condos, worked with very high end design teams and contractors and am very exacting in my expectations. This is the first time that I did not have to use a separate design team because Luxe was so good at what they do. Their design sense is excellent and their knowledge of the different products is so vast that they basically provided all the design guidance we needed and this saved us a lot of money. Luxe is also very honest. They will never overpromise anything and I never felt like I was being ripped off. I truly believe their prices are the best for the level and quality their team is providing. Luxe will keep to the budget that you agree upon with them. In all my other renovation experiences, our budget was always exceeded but with Luxe there were no surprises.

Finally, the Luxe team always met their deadlines. And as I mentioned earlier, they finished faster than what they promised. This is almost unheard of with contractors, especially after COVID. I really wish I could bring the Luxe team to the state I live in as there is no one else that I would rather use. If I ever have any renovation needs in the tri-state area again, I will use Luxe again in a heartbeat. I don't think my review fully conveys what an exceptional service...

There are not enough stars to describe our impression of Michael and his crew at Luxe Kitchen and Bath! He renovated our bathroom two years ago before we moved in to our coop. Mr. Mike has incredible integrity, respect, and resourcefulness. He completed the kitchen in the three week window we had agreed upon and throughout the prcoess he strove to satisfy our desires and requests. We recently hired him again to renovate our kitchen. The project was a complete renovation of a galley kitchen and he completed it in 2 1/2 weeks. It completely fulfilled our expectation. When there were glitches in the way the fridge was functioning (not even his responsibility) he came by while we were on vacation to try and correct the malfunction. Any question or slight cocern on our part received his undivided attention even afterr the project was completed! Mr. Mike is meticulous, reliable, trustworthy, and a man of his word. In an industry where a lack of integrity is typical, Michael exemplifies a new ideal! I woud not hesitate to recommend him...
