This place is available for delivery on Uber Eats. I prefer delivery rather than going to the restaurant, that’s just my preference. This place has a lunch special called the Junior Combo available both in store and on Uber Eats. The combo comes with 2pc Whiting, 6pc shrimp, french fries and a drink. The drink is a prompted selection btw on Uber Eats
I would order the Junior combo frequently from this place and sometimes it would be delivered with the drink I selected and sometimes it wouldn’t. I started to message the delivery drivers to make sure they grabbed my drink selection because sometimes the restaurant would forget to put it in the bag. After I started messaging the drivers the drinks would always come, until today.
I messaged the driver as usual to make sure the restaurant included the drink. My driver then called me a few minutes later to inform me the restaurant said I can only get the drink if I physically ordered the Junior Combo in the store. I thanked my driver then quickly got into my vehicle and headed to the restaurant, not before contacting Uber explaining the situation and receiving a full refund. Now I get to the restaurant and the attendant tells me the same thing that was explained to the driver, which is ridiculous. Now I see why sometimes I didn’t receive a drink with my order, it was intentionally left out. The person of contact was very rude and nasty btw (light brown lady with Black Gucci glasses, beware). I explained to the woman that if a drink with the Junior Combo is only available to people who order in store then they should remove the prompt to select a drink with the Junior Combo on Uber Eats and honor the drinks for delivery until they do so. For some reason that concept was very hard for her to grasp. She then gets on the phone and I’m guessing contacted someone above her and after she hung up that call she reluctantly gave me drinks I was supposed receive. Read moreThe last 2 times I've went here/ordered from here weren't pleasant& I will not patronize them any longer. Occasion #1: I ordered on ubereats for pickup. When I arrived order wasn't ready. Things seemed a bit unorganized as far as where to stand if picking up order, ppl were scattered everywhere (ubereats drivers, ppl placing orders, etc.) and not in designated areas. Upon receiving my order, I checked it to make sure it was accurate. I received the wrong sides for my order. I gave it back to cashier/server and informed her that the sides were wrong. I watched this lady take the wrong sides out and put it back in the buffet style pans instead of discarding of it or telling me to keep it and just give me the correct sides in a different container. Isn't that against some code? Cross contamination/ cross contact? This turned me off as someone who has food allergies. Occasion #2: My mom orders from here very frequently. She ordered through ubereats app for delivery. They told the ubereats drivee to inform her that they didn't have the sides she wanted& if there was anything else she liked instead. They were also out of the item she wanted instead. She told the ubereats driver to tell them she no longer wanted order. They the ubereats driver to tell her that she needed to cancel the order& that they cant do it on their end. LIE. I've ordered ubereats plenty of times and I know for a fact that restaurants can cancel orders because it's happened to me before. Also, when a customer cancels an order ubereats charges for that. Why would I cancel order as a customer if the restaurant is at fault for not being able to fulfill what I ordered? I called and explained to this to them and told them that I'm not canceling the order and that they need to cancel on their end so that I'm not held liable for any fees, etc. and they refused. My dad placed the order at 6:08 pm and the app said that the order will be ready at 6:38pm my dad arrived for the pick up order at 6:20pm and sat in his car until 6:30pm hoping the order would be ready. He was not greeted up entry and he understood the place was extremely busy. So he gave them grace and waited until 6:45pm but his food was never called to be picked up. He was concerned and was looking an update on his order at which point he approached the cashier.
But before he could ask a question about his order the woman aggressively dismissed him and directed him to the “order pick up” area. This woman was very dismissive and disrespectful and all he wanted was an update about his order. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE WOULD HIM AND RESPECTFULLY ADDRESS HIS CONCERNS. Was there manager duty to de-escalate this situation or someone could have at least checked so he had a general idea HOW MUCH LONGER.
My father then stood around for an extra 18 mins and his order was thrown at him at 7:00pm no apology from any member of the team! This is completely unacceptable and unethical. He then complained on Uber the app which he ordered from and the app is saying for him to reach out to the store. UNFORTUNATELY the app was no help and directed him to contact the same people who blatantly ignored and disrespected this man. 12 people minimum were working and NO ONE FROM BED STY FISH took the time to care enough to check on his order. Instead everyone IGNORED HIM. What kind of customer service is that!? He is a senior citizen at that.
The disrespect is on another level throughout the ENTIRE ESTABLISHMENT! Completely unacceptable behavior by every single person in that establishment! I can tell anyone 10 more places to go before ever stepping foot in this place ! This response says order again but there is no discount applied or anything being addressed.
